This thread is incredibly annoying. Maybe it's the oversensitive fans who felt the need to create a second thread about the same topic even after the first one was locked. Or maybe it's the obnoxious homers who feel the need to defend their player after a dirty play and call the other guy soft for getting kneed in the balls.

It's clearly both

Someone getting hit in the groin isn't something new. To be honest, I am not surprised that a Celtics' player would taunt an injured player, and I am not surprised that no Raptors' player got in anyone's face. I wouldn't be surprised if Triano calls out his team. This team is too soft, and this must be changed. I think it's the mentality of the team and not just certain players. Hopefully Reggie Evans can get in some people's faces, and maybe he'll show Pierce how much it hurts to get kneed in the balls next game.

Damn....getting crowned and kneed in the balls in 1 play is morally devestating. The Raptors (and a lot of Raps fans agree with me) need to toughen up. To allow people to dunk on your net without giving 1 hard foul is beyond soft. No team in the NBA respects our bigs, and they go into the paint knowing they will not be on their asses. :dontknow:

Funny to think how much more outrage there would be if say Kobe had knee'd someone in the groin then posed over him. Or hell even Artest, we had a 10+ page thread on people crying about him tossing a shoe, imagine if he actually did something worth complaining over such as this?

Bitch move by Paulina Pierce, would of been fine if he hadn't tried to pose and taunt him afterwards at least then the knee would of looked incidental. The whole "Im a badass becuase I knee'd you in the nuts" thing just doesn't fly with me.

so challenging a player that uses his knee to create space by kneeing you in the groin is a weak block attempt...you sir are an idiot

yeah because no one in the nba dunks on someone and posses for a second........

This might be the dumbest responce to a post I have seen in a while. The guy clearly sticks his knee out to the side (not out in front), and goes out of the way to tag Bosh in the nuts and you think thats ok?

If artest does this, hes gone for 5 games or more.

The guy went out of his way to injure another player. He tried to use a tactic they teach woman, and kicked another guy in the balls... real thug.

Lol @ people saying only haters or fans of raptors talking about this.. I'm neither I just found that play to be very dirty. I'm not saying Pierce did it deliberately, but after he injured him he could have given him a hand. + Raptors are a soft ass team.

Are NBA fans getting as soft as the league itself? Great dunk, he talked trash, I wish it would happen more.

Just because the Raptors are soft doesn't mean you need to try to drag down PP and the Celtics for being tough and physical.

Kneeing someone in the nuts is tough and physical? More like cheap, dirty and douche like. Hope paul pierce gets sacked next time we play them so i can tell you celtic **** that were just playing "tough".

All this clown who are saying grow balls will be the one who's complaining.

Is there any celtic fan who is not a homer and see Paul Pierce for who he really is ? A fake thug

So it's dirty even though it wasn't deliberate? Right... :-?

If it were another team besides the Celtics most of you hypocrites would be applauding the dunk.

That was a pathetic and dirty play from Pierce. It still doesn't change the fact that Bosh's teammates didn't step up to Paulina. I hope Triano wakes up his players.

Also, the Celtics aren't a tough team as everyone labels them as. In fact, they're douchebags who use "intensity" as their excuse:

The Celtics hate is hilarious.

People think Pierce kneed him in the balls on purpose? Have ANY of you driven to the hoop ever? People get kneed in the balls awkwardly at least once a day when I play pickup. It just happens.

I'm pretty sure Pierce didn't pose because he kneed him in the balls. lol, it's called the heat of the moment.

Bosh needs some toughness around him. I just wish that Pierce would do that to someone on the lakers. I would LOVE to see a rumble between LAL and BOS

There was once a time when i was a huge celtics fan but I cant even watch them anymore. from garnetts "intensity" to the rest of the team being just plain old douchbags. saying he didnt do it on purpose is fine because Im sure that he didnt try to knee him in the nuts. but when the guy is laying on the floor in a ball then maybe you shouldnt be making dumbass faces and acting tough. that has nothing to do with being a good or tough basketball team. just because its a professional sports team doesnt mean you have the right to be a ****
