Honestly think this goes for the entire NBA. Nobody likes the Knicks, yet here we are, rooting for the Knicks.

Embiid and Harden are the only players that can unite us all against them like that . It was handy when they were on the same team choking together.

Never seen a softer big man ever in the history of the nba

He flops on every possession and is always injured

You can't eject a star in a playoff game, I don't care what they did. Refs shouldn't decide games by taking out stars.

76ers were also down 0-2, the refs have to pull back a bit to give them a shot. If they go down 0-3 the series is over, so refs did the right thing in this situation.

Umm the star decided the game by being an idiot and doing something that forces the ref to eject him for. So they should be immune to everything? Why stop there, why call any fouls on stars? Why not let them travel and carry and do whatever they want? What a joke of a take hahaha!

Call fouls, carries etc but never eject stars from a playoff game. Refs shouldn't be tilting the games in that way. Players will self regulate once they're at 3-5 fouls or have a technical. That's enough.

In hindsight, we really had such a slim chance in game 3. Many have forgotten that Embiid was also in foul trouble for a large portion of the game. Yet, he was hip checking and things of that nature... clear offensive fouls. Yet, the refs did not blow the whistle.

The game was manipulated in such a way to benefit Embiid that it wasn't even the same game anymore. I am actually in favor of things like make-up calls, etc. The intent when that happens is to manipulate to make it fair. This wasn't fair and Mitch got hurt. I wish we got the memo so we could have rested guys, etc. But, we move on.

That's such a silly argument. The refs enforcing the rules doesn't mean they are deciding games, they would just be doing what Embiid's behavior warrants. Their refusal to enforce the rules correctly is a much more active intervention in the outcome of the game than doing their jobs would've been.

But whatever, new game, new beef lol

Tough for the Sixers to win on the road 4 times in this series.

So if Embiid punches someone in the face he shouldn't get ejected? He's immune to that because he's a "star"? Get outta here with that nonsense haha.

New basketball fan? The Knicks almost had their entire roster unavailable before. They had to split up suspension between games so they would have enough guys to dress for the playoff games.

Pull back a bit to give them a shot? We see the role of referees completely different from each other. Let the players decide the outcome. Embiid decided to hip check and play dirty, he made the choice to put his availability at risk.

I mean if 15 years makes me new then I'm new I guess. I agree that players should decide the outcome. Like you said, that's my point. There's no place for refs to be ejecting guys in pivotal games. Refs can give fouls or technicals to put pressure on players. They'll self correct. Refs shouldn't go past the 5 foul or one tech limit though when we're talking about stars, especially not in pivotal games down the stretch.

Ejecting him alters the outcome of the game. No one's there to watch the refs. We're there to watch the stars. Give him a tech, flagrant 1 or 5th foul at most. Nothing beyond that. He'll self correct.

There are instances where it's borderline or a bad call and getting ejected in those type situations is harmful to the game and bad reffing. But you saying never under any circumstances do you eject a star is absolutely wrong and hilarious. There's plenty of things they could do that will warrant it and it's not the ref's fault it's the players fault for doing it. They need accountability too. If you do something ejection worthy the loss is on you not the ref .
