The impact refs have in the way the games are played and who that overwhelmingly disadvantages...is a little concerning.

I have too much respect for the Nuggets to feel comfortable in this series until it's over. The advantages the Wolves have over the Nuggets (size, health, multiple defensive matchups to throw at their best players) are very real. But the Nuggets are versatile problem solvers.

The Wolves flexed on the whole NBA landscape with that game 2 decimation of the defending champ (and championship favorite until that game). Even if the Wolves lost this series, I'll always remember that game as one of the best moments in T-Wolves history. But the task of finishing this series remains to be done, and Denver will put everything they have into stopping us from doing that. A 2-1 lead isn't a huge cushion, though we did steal that precious Denver homecourt advantage.

Having to beat Denver two more times isn't something to take for granted.

This game was definitely called much different to G2. I though it was called fair both sides though.

With one game, the Wolves went from sweeping the Nuggets to now losing 4 straight. Wild playoffs!

A 10 or 15 pt loss is fine but let DEN run you over like a roadkill is demoralizing. For those that just blame Gobert, he was -10 in +/-. Ant is -32, Towns -32, JMcD -18, Conley -15, Naz -25, NWA -25. It was a team concerted effort and Gobert certainly didn't carry the team. Although take the +/- with a grain of salt. JMcL was team high +9 ( maybe a lot of that was garbage time).

I expect a very close game 4 because Wolves seems to came down to earth and DEN is finally waking up for playoffs. However DEN isn't going to shoot like game 3 and Twolves certainly not going to shoot like game 3. Feels like a six game series one way or another.

Been thinking the same. It was almost shocking how loose G2 was. I wonder if the G3 crew statistically calls more fouls? Also, who will it be for G4?

An "anonymous executive" having an opinion isn't any kind of news or proof of anything. That twitter account is such trash and I don't know why anyone ever cites it. You might as well start a twitter account that cites General Board hot takes and pretend to be a news aggregator.

In general, I don't enjoy seeing players suspended. I like watching basketball games with good teams at their best.

The refs called it like that in the first round against the Suns.

Wolves were allowed to play super aggressive and it it flustered the Suns who lack size and aggressiveness. I don't think the Suns would have won anyway even if the refs called a lot of fouls on the Wolves because the supporting cast like Conley and McDaniels were on fire and KAT had some amazing scoring outbursts.

Look I think Wolves deserved to win first two. I just can't understand when somebody is complaing about officiating in this game, which was tipical playoffs officiating.
What would he say if they had to go through Lakers 2 years in the row? :noway:

100% agree.

NBA better be careful with these refs. At some point they will start to lose fans. This has been by far the worst officiated season I have seen since I started watching the NBA.

There is no consistency or accountability. Certain players get away with more aka Draymond. This Denver/Minny series has been bad. I still can't get over the Ant tech
He did nothing. Meanwhile Murray was bumping refs and throwing stuff on the court and he got nothing.

They need to bring in a new wave of refs. Put them in a training program or something because some of these refs are flat out blind!

G2 they let them get away with very strong contact on D. But it was called same both sides, Denver never adjusted and MIN bullied them all game. It was amazing defense by them, they realized refs will let them play and they played. Denver didn't and got abused. Rightfully so.

G3 was called much different, I bet there was a memo by the League and maybe that reffing played a part why Murray didn't get tossed and suspended after. I felt it was still called same both sides which is what you want for a fair game. MIN came in a bit too strong I think based on the whistle in G2

I watched the NYK IND G2 and that was called so soft in comparison.

Before the series started I looked at the percentages of the votes and it was like 57% Nuggets to 43% Wolves winning, after Game 2 it changed to Wolves 51% Nuggets 49%, now it's changed again to Nuggets 51% Wolves 49%.

Last night we were reminded that this Wolves team still has a core of Karl Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert.

So the fact that this squad still is in command of this series, tells more about the state of West right now more than anything.

In gist, OKC or Dallas is coming out of the West. I'm not buying this Wolves team. Unless ANT goes full Jordan/Lebron, which is not happening.

Who wins GAME 7 and goes to the WCFs?
