Wait the nuggets really didn't have shoes to warm up in during shoot around so they all wore slides to shoot around in game 4? LMAO

You got the Wolves with no Reid and no McDaniels, and Ant was 21, you got the Suns with Durant suffering an injury with what should have ended his season in March but he came back hobbled with old Chris Paul and playoff choker Booker, you got these same Lakers with 38 year old Lebron, and you got the Heat who's basically just Jimmy and a bunch of good defenders/3 point shooters. I'm not impressed and I'm not changing my mind. Win this one I will be impressed. Part of you should feel the same you want 1 championship or do you want a dynasty?

You're right these teams are unproven, so it should be no problem to win another one. Before last year what were the Nuggets? Unproven. You made the one WCF in the bubble but so. Dallas made the WCF in 2022 but no one calls them proven. Dallas and Clippers have both made the WCF but you're calling them unproven.

I believe the Warriors won one playoff series before going on to become a dynasty. So things can change.

What was Dallas doing last year since the West/NBA was so easy to win?

No one's going around comparing Luka to Jordan and Lebron like they are Jokic after 1 ring, and acting like they're unbeatable like people do the Nuggets. The Mavs were a mess last year people act like Luka and Kyrie were together all season, they actually only played 18 games together. And it's hard to pinpoint who the third best player even was.

The Nuggets will get their chance to prove they can beat better competition why Nugget fans argue that fact? You should relish it. It sounds like you're afraid. They literally beat 2 8 seeds and 1 7 seed, and a 4 seed. Never has a championship been won with the seeding being that low in the history of the NBA you guys act like they're a dynasty already.

Of course we are afraid. We were so lucky last year to go through Suns and Lakers and avoid top seeded Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings. It would be as good as avoiding OKC and Minnesota this year. I would jump throught the roof.

Nuggets are very likely winning in 5. At least save the straw-grasping for when they don't, lol.

They were pre-grasping before Game 3 too. It's bordering on mental illness at this point.

The irony is the Lakers have gotten the worse whistle this series.

So what's Murray's status for tonight - game time decision?

If he's healthy and playing well it will be near impossible for the Lakers to win. If not, then they'll have a shot. Kind of sucks that it comes to that, but it is what it is.

I'm assuming he'll play. Game's way too important to miss out on unless he physically can't get it going. I'm fully expecting Lebron to put him in a gazillion pick and rolls to test that ankle.

If Denver wasn't concerned, Murray wouldn't play.

They obviously understand the implications of this game.

May just be partly copium that I’m afraid we can’t beat Denver, but it’s hard to believe it’s not a bad sign to trail 72% of the time in a series with a 7th seed.

You’re correct. They’ve been pretty damn awful all series between Murray being almost unplayable (except for the 4th quarter of game 2) and having terrible first halves in every game.

Denver will lose to the Lakers or Wolves unless they somehow do an almost complete 180 from how they’ve played thus far.

I'm not sure what repetitive narrative is getting annoying the free throw narrative and the refs or that the lakers have a real chance in this series to do something that's never been done in all of nba history.

If they were smart you sit him. He has what another 3 days until the next game? Force it and he might make it a longer term lingering thing that bites you down the line

I mean he's been crap the whole series. At this point it helps the Lakers when he plays. If MPJ was injured, then I'd think there's potential for things to change.

I expect all the Nuggets role players to hit their shots tonight and I think the Lakers let go of the rope. They don't like their coaching staff. They let go of the rope super easily second half of game 3.

That actually crossed my mind too and was a big reason I thought Denver would close them out in 4 but I guess they just didn't want to get swept when Denver didn't show up.

I can't imagine Lebron actually thinks he can win a championship with Darvin Ham at the steer.
