He doesn't have the vision and passing skills of CP, and of cpurse partly due to height, CP does not have the scoring and finishing, but CP's ability to create space and get shots off in the mid-range sometimes didn't even make sense, so not a bad comp in that aspect. Of course SGA needs a little less space due to height and length than a CP did.

Not a bad comparison for mid-range shot creating, but not close enough in other areas.

Obviously there's no one comparison as most players are all different, so that's still fine.

the guy he most resembles is older kobe, who is also his favorite player. shai is a really great 'bad shot maker' just like kobe was. he has excellent foot work and flexible ankles just like kobe did. he's not the same kind of athlete as young kobe but his game resembles older kobe once he decelerated a little bit.

SGA creates so much space, so they aren't bad shots. Kobe did a lot more shooting over a defender right in his grill because he was confident he could still make the shot.
