Hottest team vs most talented team. The wolves seem like they have something really special going on right now. If the series was today probably Minnesota but we'll see if they sustain this level of play for another 1.5 months.

How is Boston not hot? They've been hot for pushing 90 games this season.

I can't gauge them because their playoff opponents have been so soft. Nothing against the celtics but they haven't been tested at all in the playoffs (regular season and playoffs are different things).

Coach Finch stresses defense in the first half of the seasons practices because it's easy to get early wins playing defense while teams are getting into the swing of things. In the second half he stresses more offense since the defensive groundwork has been laid. Wolves were a much better offense post AS break than they were pre.

We know we match up great with anyone, especially the Celtics, who we beat and took to OT without half our lineup in the RS. The Wolves length makes them a matchup problem for any team.

And who is supposed to be the most talented team? You can easily make the case Minnesota is the more talented team. Also, TWolves have been hot all year. They were in first place the majority of the season.
