Wolves should feel good about this first half despite trailing. Whoever starts the 3rd quarter better should win this game. Whoever allows a longish run (something like 8-0ish) will lose the game.

I know a lot of basketball fans feel like Reggie, "you can't miss calls," but the error rate for refs will always be above 0. As comparison Reggie Miller is one of the greatest shooters of all time and he missed one in free throws. A free throw is when a player is unguarded and has ten seconds to collect themselves. Still one of the best shooters of all time will miss one in ten.

Refs are going to miss calls and when you compare NBA ref to NCAA refs their error rate is a lot lower.

But the comparison there isn't just a missed call. It was such an obvious foul. Is more like Reggie shooting an air ball on a FT.

Actually missing a free throw is the perfect comparison for a blown call. The shooter has ten seconds collect himself. He knows he's unguarded and he's one of the best shooters in the world. But even the Reggie Millers miss 1 in 10.
