Knicks are the more consistent team for sure, and have an extra year of Playoffs experience over the Pacers. I say Knicks in 6.

I want to say Knicks in 5, maybe 6, but I don't want to underestimate Indy. They coasted past Milwaukee, who was shorthanded, but still an easy win for them. Indy could give the Knicks trouble.

So, . . . Knicks in 5, but a Pacers win wouldn't shock me - if that makes sense. Might be a good tough series & looking forward to it. So happy we're not playing Philly again till next year. I really didn't like watching those games.

I think the Knicks should win this one pretty easily, but if the Pacers pull it out?



Rivalry reignited!

I’m interested in the thought process of the two people who said the Pacers would sweep.

I’m going Knicks sweep. Could just as easily go 7 but Pacers d does them in quick.

This series will be defined by the Knick role players playing better on the road than the Pacer role players. Hart, DD, and McBride played well in Philly, and I expect them to play wellin Indy as well given their make up as ballers. I question whether Nesmith and Nembrart can do the same. They aren't going to be getting the open looks that MIL gave them all series, they are going to need to hit contested shots this round.

Likewise the perimeter defense of the Knicks is going to be a little bit more challnging to break with Thibs under helm, and not having Dame and Beasley being traffic cones out there. Donte and Hart were great at dealing with screens and fighting over guys, and Hali isn't the type of dude to punish you in that regard. I see a lot of late shot clock scrambles in the Pacers future.

The Pacers path to victory is hoping their length can disrupt Brunson, they recover on shooters faster, and Pascal dominates his matchup. If Pascal and Turner can't keep NY bigs and Hart off the glass, it's going to be a quick series. This is the series Pascal needs to average 26/10 on good shooting.

Thibs and Carlise is also a great matchup, should be interesting to see their adjustments as the series goes on. We didn't see much Precious or Burks last series, this might be the one they come in and impact. Indy's bench can actually do damange, and I like TJ as the calm cool collected vet PG coming in off the bench. Think he has a good series.

Knicks in 5, 6 if Pacer role players show up. 7 if Pacers put up a fight and Thibs doesn't expand his otation and plays these dudes 45 minute every game. I'm guessing experience pays off, and Knicks in 5.

The Pacers might honestly be the worst team in this entire post season. They caught a huge break in the first round with the Greek Freak out.

Their defense is atrocious. And they don’t seem to have much depth.

Their hype deflated after losing the Mid Season Championship against the Lakers.

Nah man, their D is meh but they are scrappy and really good at getting teams to play their pace.

I feel like the Pacers are more well rounded offensively than the Sixers so it may be tougher to target specific players without it hurting us

Obi had 21 and TJ scored 20 yesterday.

Very different styles. Pacers play a lot faster than the sixers did so idk if Thibs can get away with playing his starters 48 minutes every game. I think i'll lean towards the Knicks because of their defense and homecourt but if Haliburton can get back to his early season form, there's no reason the Pacers can't win.

definitely an issue. Hart was dominating the offensive glass. But the Sixers don't tend to run a lot so the transition defense didn't get burned. Pacers run a lot more, send 3 guys to get the crash the glass could lead to transition opportunities.

I went Knicks in 7 but I absolutely think Indy has a chance to steal this series

Indy can get some games here. Run run run them into the ground.

Knicks is 6. Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam are going to look like Small Forwards on the glass.

I've got the Knicks in 7. This series will be competitive, both teams have good depth.

Let's be real. Pacer wouldn't have advanced were it not for injuries. And those crowing about the season series, guess what? Pacers played a depleted Knicks team. I give the Pacers one, MAYBE two games IF they shoot lights out. The 6ers prepped the Knicks for this series.
