 Like the Nuggets in game 6

It will be dependent on the types of fouls that are called. Games 1, 2, and 6 had less ticky tacky calls against the Wolves, so they were more aggressive. If they aren't allowed to body up defensively, they'll lose. We'll know that within the first 3-4 mins, regardless of score.

When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

We'll know the winner within the first 3-4 minutes of the game imo.

But that’s why you play for the better record in the regular season? Home court advantage should give you some better calls. Not saying they should get truly bogus calls, but they should get a somewhat better whistle.

You play for home court to have your fans and comfort of being at home. Having calls favor you due to the location of the arena is wrong.

I hope Denver is watching the Knicks vs Indiana game and learn something. They can’t let Minnesota shoot like 70+% in the first quarter.

My Conference Predictions

Post#9686 » by Wammy Giveaway » Sun May 19, 2024 8:44 pm

Here's who I got representing the conference finals. This is not a prelude to what our NBA Finals will be, keep that in mind:

- Celtics: 17 championships, looking to break the tie with Lakers and reclaim supremacy and CBA control
- Nuggets: Most recent NBA champion who just won their first last year, looking to repeat (Game 7 today)
- Mavericks: Previous champion from more than 10 years ago
- Pacers: Never won a title before (Game 7 in progress)

I can't see Knicks making it. With Thibodeau, you're guaranteed a working overload. But also look at this: his lone title with the Celtics had three superstars, Allen, Pierce and Garnett. On Bulls and Knicks, it was usually either a one-man band with Rose (Rose became superstar by default with his MVP award in 2011) or role stars with Randle (3x All Star) and Brunson. If Thibs wants a deep run again, he'll need a True Big 3.

As for Wolves, they're brand new but also fragile. Edwards has stepped up into his leadership/future role-star period with superstar status just around the corner. But Gobert has never gotten past the 2nd round, Conley is compromised by injuries, Anthony-Towns is afraid, and the Wolves blew their only chance at an automatic 3-0 lead which resulted in Nuggets taking over. They did redeem themselves by enforcing a Game 7 but it's all over. Wolves need to make some changes, and maybe having a better Dynamic Duo will work.

Pacers won ABA titles back in the '70s. True

TWolves have yet to win an NBA title as well.

Last C's NBA title, 2008.

I'd love to see Minnesota do it. Not sure what I expect. Just when you think you know what may happen, the series flips. I am sure most expect Denver to win, defending champs, at home, but Minnesota, with their defense, if they can control the boards and not get too nervous in such a big game, they may have a chance. Rarely have the games been close so it will be interesting to see if this one is.

if the Nuggets build a double-digit lead at home, I think they get the job done. The TWolves offense isn't built for comebacks. It's built to sustain big leads. So, a fast start is very important.

TWolves will get it done, defense travels… if Jokers can’t hit his threes, the Nuggets season will be over… that’s exactly what will happen

Pacers started the momentum! Time for the Wolves to deliver. If they bring their A game they win. Depends on if their youngsters show up.

Both the way the Thunder and Knicks went out are depressing as hell, for different reasons. Sad to see teams playing so great go out in heartbreaking fashion. This second round is no joke.

This feels like a coin flip game with the way the series has gone down

Wolves fans need a feel good story here. Its been way too long.
