Probably not the greatest contribution but PJ tucker basicly entered the nba @ 27, and is still going strong @ 37. Had one of his better statistical seasons last year.

Re: NBA curiosities
Martell Webster has played 10 seasons in the league and has been out of the league for 7 seasons now, yet he's still 35 years old.
Andrew Bynum has been out of the league for 8 seasons now, yet he's still 34 years old.
Udonis Haslem has 733 career assists, 3 for every year of his life.
Chris Duarte, as a 24-year old rookie, had 366 2pt FGA, 226 total rebounds and 56 steals.
If you add up all the last number of these stats, 6 + 6 + 6 = illuminati confirmed.

Tim Duncan is the most-blocked player since the NBA started tracking play-by-play stats in 1996-97. Duncan was blocked 1,483 times (RS). Of all his opponents, Kevin Garnett blocked him the most times (33).
He is also the most blocked player ever in the PS -(325 times).

Chris Duarte is mentioned in the majority of posts in a thread! He's 25, clearly not as old or good as many others ... and Canadian.

Re: NBA curiosities
An NBA + NCAA curiosity:
In 1998, the UCLA Bruins signed the #1 recruiting class. Included in the class was the #1 overall ranked player (Dan Gadzuric), one of the top SF (Jaron Rush), the #2 SG (Ray Young), and a highly regarded overseas player (Jerome Moiso) who became a lottery pick. This class mostly fizzled and ended playing a combined 14 years in the NBA between the four of them.
The fifth recruit was not as highly regarded and considered as possibly a better wide receiver in football than as a basketball player. That player was Matt Barnes who's 16 years in the NBA was more than the rest of the class.

So he's missed about 10k shots, so 1/7 misses is a blocked shot.

This one is pretty strange, he's played like 500 minutes in his career but would be over 3 steals/36 2 blocks/36. His rookie year was 2 steals/36 which is still pretty impressive.

At the same age Prigioni became an NBA rookie (35), Andrew Bynum had been retired from the NBA for 9 years, following an 8 1/2 year career in the league.

According to legend, Manute Bol paid 80 cows for his wife.
This is a picture of him swimming (unfortunately I don't know if it was taken before or after his marriage):

Re: NBA curiosities
Larry Bird never won a series while not having home-court advantage.
Granted, he didn't have THAT many series when his team did not have HCA, but given that a large part of Bird's mystique stems from his clutchness, you'd think he might have done it at least once. But that's not the case.
