I'm leaning towards Jayson Tatum, but he's far from a sure thing as winning the MVP. Not a lot of options to choose from at the moment.

True. But this one isn’t some American self interested thing. The word America is literally in the name, no other county has that. Of course it gets shortened to just American, no one is ever going to shorten it to Uniteder or Stater. Lol.

tatum, booker and donovan mitchell have come the closest in the last couple years but even then weren't close to contending against jokic, embiid or giannis.

i'll be a homer and put my dark horse as cade :)

Haliburton will have an outside chance depending on the Pacers' progression as a franchise.

Steph Curry is done winning anything, he's 35 and their is too much competition with luka, giannis, embiid, tatum, and jokic

This said American- Luka, Giannis, Joker, and Embiid are foreign born. Of course i think those guys have a really good chance. I can also see Curry having one last strong run in him.

I hear you, but I’m just saying, I’m married to somebody from a non-U.S. American country and to everybody else we’re just the United States. The America tacked on at the end literally means both north and south America. We’re the United States (of America). If we were in Europe we’d be the United States of Europe. Now ask who the best European player is. It means the whole continent. SGA is in the conversation for best American player!

yeah guys like cade, haliburton, banchero, etc. have the potential to be MVPs one day but a big part of it is having a good enough team to get a bunch on national tv games. unfortunately national exposure is a big part in getting voters and the young stars aren't quite there yet.

don't know why but with the recent trend of the MVP being ~a 7 footer i feel like chet could make some noise too. unlikely sure, but i'm still high on chet despite his injury.
