I'm surprised how hard they are finding it to fit Harden. Its not only pushed Westbrook out of the minimum viable role he was fulfilling effectively but he seems to have knocked Kawii off rhythm as well.

I don't understand why this is such a big discussion. He was playing like crap, period. Now with the Clippers, he's altered his game and is playing well, through 22 games at least. There's a reason why this mostly healthy 34-year-old former MVP is making less than $4 million this season.

Luckily, the players matter more than the suited up clowns on TV and they're doing what they can to salvage what's left of his career. Harden and LeBron have same pace, slow methodical take up the court with half court offense (sometimes LeBron quarterbacks a pass up court).

Maxey and Westbrook are similar with their rush up the court to get in to offense before opponent is set. It's amazing to me how similar Maxey is to Westbrook except Maxey can shoot.

Thee style of Maxey and Westbrook seems to struggle with the slower pace of LeBron and Harden.

Russ obviously pushed hard for it too but that deal doesn't get done without Bron and AD. They were the ones running the "war room" meetings, basically interviewing guys for the job.

As for Russ's time on the Lakers...he posted the two highest FG% of his career in Houston and then Clippers last year. He was instrumental in Washington's push to make the playoffs. He was terrible on the Lakers, but less terrible when Lebron was off the court. I think it's fair to say the fit was bad just like it is with this year's Clippers team having so many guys who need the ball.

Looking at the participants. It's the usual stanbase who were salty after Russell's series again PHX. Most of you gusya re still looking for closure and will reappear when he has a bad game. You guys tried it with Ingram, Monk, Clarkson and several others but you've moved on. Russ is an easy target but eventually most of you will move on to someone who's currently on the roster.
