If my math is right, he's averaging 23 ppg on 94.19% TS% over his last four games. 39/44 from the field, for nearly 89%. Only 10/11 from the line, and 4/4 from three.

If you include Christmas when he scored 26, his TS% drops to 85.8% over his last five games: four wins and an annihilation by OKC.

"Jokic efficiency drop" vs "Pistons are looking good this season" will be tight!

Let's say at the end of the year it turns out to be Jokic's most efficient season. It still wouldn't come close to that Pistons thread.

After another torrid start to the season, he had a couple of really poor shooting games which seemed to dent his confidence a bit. I’m not sure he’s regained that confidence 100% yet, although the ending to tonight’s game might help in that regard.

Jokic is crazier because he’s 4/4 from 3 - including that ridiculous game winner.

He had 2 bad games in a row. That's it.

It's weird, but we always knew it was an aberration.

the fact that he took only 11 shots per game says something though, he changed his shot profile recently. At one point during the season, with Murray out, he was actually forcing some shots.

Honestly, Wilt is one of two players that I take seriously when someone tries to debate against Jordan in GOAT talk. He very well may have been a better player than Jordan and is consistently overlooked by current fans.

We just don’t know how good he really was. But we do know how dominant he was from testimony and statistics over his peers.

(The other is Kareem because of his blend of dominance and accomplishments. They’re the only two players who really have something important over Jordan. One may also say Russell with his 11 chips, but I believe that Russell’s chips are not more impressive, factoring in his teammate’s finals stats, his inefficient offensive stats, and the number of games/competition he played to win them).

Jokic had some meh shooting stretches to start the year, by his ridiculously unprecedented standards.

But... the last 8 games he's shooting: 69% FG, 60% on threes, 95% from the line.
