He's a poor coach if you're trying to rebuild or re-tool around younger players that need development time.

Guys like Spo and Pop are good in basically all situations.

Failed to develop who? Malachi Flynn? Precious Achiuwa? Christian Koloko? Okay Koloko is injured but serious question, not trying to troll

The Raptors became relevant when Nick Nurse developed the most potent bench with Paskal siakam and FVV, the rest is history

lol. This is compete rubbish. You have absolutely no idea how much credit to attribute to Nurse vs everybody else. Like Dwane Casey who gave those guys minutes and other assistant coaches? What about the players themselves and their off-season trainers? Even Casey gave Siakam all the credit for development…. and he had a front row seat.

Lost again to the Knicks who are missing multiple starters. Nurse is more overrated than even I imagined.

Philly has a bad roster with no depth

Funny how they were called super deep just after the Harden trade. Nurse sucks at developing his bench. He can only coach stars, future stars and elite role players.

Every roster, other than a stacked roster, is a bad roster for Nurse.

O-ver-raaa-ted.

Nope. This roster is on Morey. He has a big offseason ahead of him.

The Sixers roster sucks and their best player is a playoff choker. No coach can overcome those obstacles.

They could really use Harden right about now.

He could, but Morey wanted capspace. He's gonna have the most, but look at what Tobias Harris has given them. He chose capspace over trying to flip his contract for someone like Jerami Grant. Wasted year regardless of whether or not Philly comes back in this series.

He's better than the last 3 HC for the Sixers and has a championship with the Raps to prove it.

How many playoff series did Nurse win after Kawhi left Toronto?

Answer: Grand total of 1 vs a seriously depleted Nets team in the bubble. Heck, Nurse missed the playoffs altogether, 2 out of 4 years.

You give Nurse MVP caliber players and he can win games. Stop the press. Frank Vogel, Mike Malone, Doc Rivers, Ty Lue, Bud, Carlisle and Kerr have all done the same. Nurse is nothing special.

Doc Rivers was voted top 10 greatest HC in the league by his peers unlike those others. Not saying he would have won this game because Brunson went bonkers all game but he brings out the best in players, like Dusty Baker. Nurse is better at handling on-game adjustment, which is somewhat obvious, but he can't relate to players at a personal level. I take Doc all day long as my coach.

BS. He is a lying bum. He lied to both CP3 and Melo plus he wanted Beard to get Doc fired and beating the C's would prevent that.

He’s just up against a better team with a better coach.

Embiid is the anchor on the team and everything has been built around him. Nurse has done a great job this season.

Philadelphia will have an active off-season trying to improve, so I expect things to get interesting, and the Eastern Conference needs Philly to improve.

Nick Nurse is a good coach, but he's a bad fit with Embiid. He needs a guy who can play 40+ minutes without issue.
