harden is washed. he has some game in him, but shooting in the teens percentage wise in such a critical game at home? i mean so did westbrook, but that's not as much of a surprise. pg at least shot a respectable 30% from the field lol

To be fair, I think saying Harden is wasted because of this is letting him off the hook. He does this stuff all the time. He’s built a career out of it. Yeah he’ll get you some really great games, but it’s usually always disappointments and laughs.

I’d love to pile on the Clippers as much as anyone (Lue, Harden, Westbrook, George), but they’re without their best player and were underdogs going into this series. The fact that they’ve taken at least 2 games and still have a chance to win the series is pretty impressive.

Man... Luka made a few plays on defense last night, but if LA can't win with him playing like he did on that end?

Ty Lue needs to make an adjustment. I couldn't even tell who Luka was pretending to defend. He was just standing next to his own bigman under the rim from the very start of every possession.

It did help him grab rebounds and get the Mavericks out in front to dominate the fast-break points, but there has to be some way for the Clippers to take advantage of his positioning.

Dallas finally got a win without Kawhi in. I wonder if that puts more pressure to have Kawhi try to give it one more go in game 6. This was the first time this series the Mavs really played to the post trade deadline identity that worked the best. Faster pace and staying big most of the time.

I'm expecting Luka to not play quite as well next game, this wasn't quite a true Luka special but it could have been if he was a little better from deep. He's capable of putting up big games hurt but it will wear on him

Nah, Kawhi has nothing to do with it. Game 4 PG and Harden was on fire from the start. Mavs played great defense, but they just made all their shots. I think they were like 8/11 on contested 3-pointers in the first half. They almost lost that game. It's been a weird series, but the one consistent thing has been the Mavs defense. In a 7 game series, Mavs win because the Clippers can't rely on them being on fire or Mavs scoring 8 points in a quarter.

It’s great to see Luka moving the ball more quickly and showing effort in defense. Two of the things I have been largely critical of him for years and has really lowered his impact and value IMO. If he can consistently do these things going forward then the Mavericks are a very different team.

Mavs are playing an impressive strong defense in these playoffs. I'm not sure OKC will have it THAT easy.

OKC is good,but they ain't scaring nobody...I kind of like Dallas against OKC(if Dallas beats Clippers), the C' should be festing under the basket...and as much as SGA is an amazing player, he also gets the softest calls in the league,after Joel the troll ...I don't think OKC Cruise,it would be an even series,Dallas D has improved a lot and if they start hiting the 3,who knows

I disagree. Think that series is a complete toss up, might even get a slight edge to the Mavs because of the experience factor.
