Everyone in the NBA is playing hurt this time of year. Tired of seeing the Luka not 100% excuses. NOBODY is playing at 100%.

I could care less who wins this series and it's not an excuse it just seemed Luka wasn't 100% and if he's not the Mavericks chances of going deep into the playoffs are decreased.

Yeah and the other 9 guys on the court aren't 100% either when they aren't playing well. EVERY team has players dealing with injuries this time of year, not all of them are revealed. He was good enough to play and put up a triple double, clearly wasn't ailing that bad. It's just a sorry excuse for someone who simply came up short and didn't shoot the ball well. We don't need to keep giving injury excuses to the same golden boy's of the NBA.

Clips won both games without Kawhi and lost both games with him

That's really not surprising. If you've seen how Kawhi was playing right before the all-star break, he's looking like a shell of himself in games 2 and 3.

At this point, it's sad to say but I'd rather they sit Kawhi if he's that hurt because their chances of winning are actually better playing Coffey.

Really impressed by the Clippers' poise down the stretch. After blowing the early 30 point lead and those haymakers from Kyrie in the 4th it would have been really easy to fold and blame the series loss on Kawhi's injury.

Injuries always pile up this time of the year.
No one is healthy, no one is 100%.

Facts. Luka got packed up by his geriatric predecessor in what should have been a series-stranglehold win for DAL. It happens and he can still redeem himself but he gotta hold that L for tonight. Stupid fouls, embarrassing defense, and bricking a house. On to game 5.

I feel like I don't even care if the Mavs win this series or not. The way they've played... they're going nowhere. And if they've played this badly... and are 2-2... then I assume the Clippers haven't played particularly well either... but they've been better.

Luka is whatever, I don't care about excuses... he has hurt the team a few times, while not being himself and yet to have any sustained 'magical' runs (oh I forgot, he hit a 3 pointer in G2 or something) that he usually has and makes up for everything. Mavs role guys are bricking shots and then are afraid to shoot. So that leaves us with Kyrie magic which comes later in games. Playing catch up and with broken rhythm is just not enjoyable.

So yeah... unless somehow some switch is flipped... I am feeling pretty numb about the outcome of the series... because the goal is to make the finals, win a title and just doesn't feel like it's going to be this year for the Mavs. The Clippers also look iffy because they should be dominating the Mavs if they shoot this poorly.

The Mavs had a pretty good run in the regular season and they played good teams... playing much better than this, so there is some hope they can play a couple of complete games, but time and hope is fading away.

Got outplayed by Harden. He's supposed to be the best player on the court. if the Mavs go on to lose this series this would be the game to look at. Kyrie gave it his all, Luka shot poorly and didn't match him.

Oh you are talking about this 1 game only. I agree with you about it. Luka was just not good today; injured or not. I thought you were talking about Luka's playoff history.

If he weren't fat, stupid, and lazy this would've been a sweep. He's an incredibly skilled player but he's not serious about basketball and that much is obvious. He'd rather complain than run back on defense and he's ridiculously out of shape, especially for it being this late in the season.
