He has to work on his offense. The Presence of Mitchell, I think, is holding him back from reaching his offensive peak. They're a worse team without Mitchell but he needs to develop offensive tools.

Mitchell is a chucker who loves to pound the rock. No big is going to improve their offense playing with him.

Locked him up.

For a couple of plays, sure. But Paolo was feasting on everyone the Cavs threw at him. At 21 btw. Gg.
He killed Okoro tonight, mostly.

He did get over on Morris a bit but it was more even.

Gg, i fully expect you all to take game 6, if Allen plays or not. Y'all are something else on your home court.

Unless you're trying to say something about Edwards, Paolo is way more Melo.
Don't put that on him lol

Their games are similar, but what held Melo back was his head. Paolo gets to decide for himself how much he wants to win .vs. living the life.

Cavs finally broke 100pts and needed them all.

I think you guys got it at this point. I chose the Cavs in 6 for a reason. Your experience from last year will win out against a good but young team.

It honestly may be better to move Allen, so Mobley can have that safety net removed and slide to 5 full time. Trial by fire.

Allen's stock is gonna be so high this summer.

Mitchell is really laboring out there. He isn't close to the best version of himself. He really gutted it out tonight.

"defensive clinic" he scored 39 efficient points.

Don’t talk when you clearly haven’t been watching the game. Paolo when guarded by Mobley in this series hasn’t been about to generate much offense apart from game 3.

Oh crap, i didn't even register that, good point. About dang time but having more guys willing to shoot outside 3 feet plays a part.

And just like that, everything has changed with the Morris adjustment. Cleveland has that secondary big that can not only stretch the floor but he can also still play good defense. And he can also still create his own shot. These are all things Niang couldn’t do and I’m glad he didn’t get a single minute of playing time tonight.

Another big thing is that Strus is finally hitting his shots again. This is why we got him and this is what we need him to be.

Paolo made a ton of mistakes down the stretch but he played an amazing game. As he gets older, he will learn.

Only 6 points in quarters 2, 3, and 3 combined but the hot start was needed for sure.

I'm happy the Cavs won, but if I'm Altman, I'm sending the tape into the league and asking the league how they think this game was officiated.

Paolo's also huge. At least 6'10. Can't really guard him with a smaller guy/weaker guy. You need either a strong man or someone with elite length.

Cole has a lot of work to put in if he wants to become Orlando's Niang. That level of suckage isn't easy to come by.

Fully expect Orlando to defend home court, and I think tonight is good proof of concept that Orlando is capable of beating them on the road if they cut out a few of the overzealous fouls and sloppy passes/dumb shots. Looking forward to Friday, that Mobley block was incredible.

Strus and Garland woke up and it caused us issues we haven't had to deal with as a defense til today's game.

the Cavs were hackin ruthlessly the whole game knowing they didnt have Allen to protect the paint

they werent subtle fouls

kinda why I was irritated the Magic werent attacking the paint more to end the game

I like both guys because they are unselfish players who are willing to do the little things and don't complain about touches. That is so rare in this league. However, if you move Mobley to the 5, you absolutely need someone next to him who will also get on the glass, even if they are more a stretch player.
