Props to the Magic. Great season. I know their fans were hoping they would skip a step in the POs, but not many teams do. Hopefully, Allen is back by game 1 to make the Boston series a little more interesting.

GG, great series.

Rare for a young team to win game 7 on the road. Magic had a huge lead at the half. Good young defensive team on the rise. Good season.

Mitchell was good this afternoon. Congrats to the Cavs , first series win since 2018 (lost NBA Finals to GSW, 4-0). Cavs first series win without LeBron since 1993 (lost SemiFinals to the Bulls, 4-2).

Onto the next round. Game 1 at Boston!

I truly think that Cleveland will give Boston a ton of problems if they dont have KP.

Cleveland played them well in the 3 times they faced each other in the regular season (1-2), even without having their full starting lineup available in any of those games. All 3 games were close.

For instance, Tatum is +4 in those 3 games combined. KP averaged 21, 8 and 2.3, with 2 3PTM, in those games. He also got to the line 20 times (showing that he was featured and it was tough for Cleveland to contain him).

I think Cleveland has a fighters chance here.

I think Zach Lavine would fit better. Mitchell is too small to play next to Suggs.

Man, I was mentally prepared for a loss, but did they have to give us false hope going up 18 or whatever it was? I'm hurting bad right now. We had our chances in game 5 and 7 but didn't get it done. Ultimately the team with home court and the best player in the series came through.

Oh well, congratulations Cavaliers fans on a good series. Maybe if Allen can play and Porzingis is out, you guys can give Boston more o a series than people think. Mitchell is a stud and clutch as hell.

3rd quarter choke by Magic. Playoff experience is earned and they had little to none. All part of the process.

First series win without LeBron since 1993. Huge.

For the Magic, now that they have this experience, they should be aggressive and trade those picks and obviously go after more shooting.

Cavs, we'll see how the Boston series looks - I still think trading either Mobley or Allen is the only path to go to the next level (if Mitchell stays)

GG Cavs btw. Even a clearly hurt Donovan just has another gear offensively at times. Think JA needs to get right to even push Boston (I think we were both ****) but ya never know.

On paper I really like their chances too, but then I am remembered that JB is their coach and all hope goes out of the window.

No potential in 21 and 22 year olds is kinda wild.

I'm bowing out of this thread cause its just weirdos dancing on the grave of a young overachieving team mad over pushback of this team as being "bad" lol.. and just straight up weird takes.. but yeah, yes, the offense was bad.. shocker.. it was most of this year and still got 47 wins.

I mean they also benefit from playing in the east

Orlando had a fantastic year. Sucks the 2nd half of the last game went how it did, but this year is just one huge success. Cements they hired the right coach. Banchero can clearly be one of your 2 best players. Suggs established himself as part of the core. Isaac returned to the court and showed he's still an absurd defensive player and showed he could make enough shots to stay on the court offensively.

And they have the salary cap flexibility and assets to go add another offensive engine to ease the pressure on Banchero and to add just more overall shooting.

But man I'd be the most optimistic since Dwight Howard days if I was a Magic fan right now. That team is nasty to play against and they can add offense without issue.

If they refuse to address the backcourt scoring, I agree they will stagnate, but this team will be making playoff runs for the foreseeable future.

They should trade Franz for Ja morant

I am not sure if Cavs fans on the board are very happy or not (since it became a running meme that they hate their coach), but congrats on the W and the way you've handled yourselves throughout this series. We know there aren't a ton of Cavs fans on RGM, but the ones that post, usually are high level and thoughtful.

All the respect in the world for the Magic, you guys put up an incredible fight, did better than most people expected. You guys will be really great with more experience.
