MJ and AI seem to be the only ones to have done it before in playoffs - Jordan 4 times, Iverson -2

i have no idea how comparable this game is to some of the biggest carry jobs LeBron used to do during his first stint....the Cavs could really use someone as good as Big Z right now.

If he plays he'll be limited. Rib injuries don't just go away. It's a problem. Mobley's ankle is a problem. Mitchell's knee is a problem. Wade's knee is a problem.

Now it's down to one game where all the role players are in a shooting slump and somehow Garland is the healthiest guy on the court...

The fact that Mobley finished makes me feel better. Allen will have had a week. Mitchell's knee seemed find tonight.

Look at the assist and rebounding numbers and it's not particularly close.

Seemed fine? I don't think you watched the game if that is your assessment of Mitchell's knee lol

Crazy to think Orlando was actually one shot away from this being a 4-0 run to close the series.

He got dominated on the inside when he tried to go up, and got timid.

He also sprained his ankle in the 2nd quarter.

His teammate shot the ball 36 times on really good efficiency and his other teammate shot it darn good too 17 times.

Those are the only 2 guys who feed him, pretty straightforward.

My prediction on page 2 that this series would go 7 because I didn't trust Cleveland's playoff offense was accurate. That Mobley and Allen frontcourt pairing is still very clunky

It has a good chance to be the best first round series. I think it's going 6 or 7 IF ORL does crater offensively. They are a feisty group who's defense will show up each game

Idk if it was the best one, but it’s the only one going the distance

I can't help but be happy to see the Magic blossoming. That poor fanbase went through an absolutely miserable decade

Who cares? Orlando wasn’t even supposed to be here. This experience and exposure is huge for a good young team.

THIS. There were some of us who thought we were getting swept by the Cavs... being swept by BOS is an unbelievable achievement. Lol

I didnt get to see the game... but 26 FTs to 10 is wild. Orlando got 89 FGA, to Clevelands 86 FGA... and then, they got 16 more FT attempts. No team can win with the other team getting that many more attempts to score.

Overall, it appears that Cleveland outplayed them, but Orlando out hustled them on the boards (15 ORebs vs. 7) and got a very friendly whistle. Turnover battle was equal.

Are the stats deceiving or is that how it went down?

Magic got a nice whistle tonight, but I don't think it was offensively bad. 6 of those BTW are from intentional fouling, so it's more like 20 to 10 FTs. I think people always forget this part when trying to quote free throw disparity. Could the Cavs have had like 2-3 more trips to the line? Sure.

But I also don't get the more paint points = team should get more fouls drawn.. especially with how poor our defense was inside today, a lot of layups and floaters from the Cavs, versus our drives kind of barreling inside with our bigs.

I think if there are bigger gripes for Cavs fans it can be physicality allowed on defense at times, versus specific fouls on plays at the basket giving them more free throws.
