It WAS the correct choice. Doesn't really matter if the shot probably wasn't going in (it definitely wasn't and I will bet my house on that). It's still a goal tend.

Yeahhh, i was thinking risk of a more serious injury goes up. We'll see though he seems to be moving pretty well.

For not playing a lot of minutes together this season, the Cavs starting 5 are so cohesive once they get going.

Darius Garland has 3 more points than me. I have no idea why he thinks this is acceptable.

Just want to point out... the Cavaliers have a 13+ rebounding advantage right now.

He's only played 13 minutes due to foul trouble, not to mention his team is up by 20... I don't really care how many points he has and you shouldn't either.

At least the front office should have an easy job going forward. They know they have the young core in place. Just need to find offensive firepower to fit around them.

The lack of spacing for ORL compared to all the other teams in the playoffs is pretty eye opening.

This is the best thing that could happen to this team. Cavaliers went through this exact same thing last season. It's a terrific learning experience, and it's going to make Orlando, who already have a insanely bright future, a much better team in the long run.

Agreed. This is probably best case scenario for them. This is better than say they win out a tough series. Because then the front office might think to themselves, “let’s run it back next year with this same lineup.”

With how this is going. They get the young core playoff experience and the lack of firepower and how it really makes life so much tougher on Paolo/Franz has been so glaring. That it will basically be impossible for the front office to not see it and make some moves.

Cole Anthony doesn’t understand why every shot isn’t a good shot. Fultz won’t shoot. Suggs won’t shoot unless he’s wide open and can’t create much. Black is glued to the bench for good reason.

Gary Harris has been here and looks fine. And that’s all they have. It doean’t matter how much young talent you have elsewhere if your guard play is this putrid.

Rebounding is one of the Magic's weaknesses.

Paolo and Franz are 6"10 but are not good rebounders for their height.

This is Jarrett Allen's coming out series. He is dominating Orlando and they don't seem to have an answer for him.

Darius Garland loves to just mindlessly dribble the ball until there is 10 on the shot clock.

there's so much guard talent in the league... you would think that it wouldn't be too difficult to filed a better backcourt.

How does it not matter if the shot wasn't going in?

Official rule:
Touch any ball from within the playing area that is on its downward flight with an opportunity to score. This is considered to be a “field goal attempt” or trying for a goal.

Read on Twitter

That ball did not have an opportunity to score: it's not a goaltend.

I gotta say, i don't like how the Cavs are slowing it down and going iso. Forget the scoreboard, play your game.

Slowing the game down is gonna let the Magic back into it.

Garland needs to score. He had 14 in game 1 and he has 3 so far tonight. He was really passive during the regular season. He is a max contract player. He is an all-star. He needs to be the 2nd best player for the Cavs and he just isn’t right now.
