This is more of a confidence issue for Lakers more than anything. There is not a big gap in talent between the two teams. Denver has more 2 way players but Lakers are playing below their standards and should be tied 2-2. It would have been a more interesting series.

As expected, Nuggets still favored (7.5) big in the closeout game in Denver. If you’re backing the Nuggets, time to pound that line early.

Enjoy the positive energy, LA fans. At least the next two games you can still play hour theoreticals before getting eliminated on Tuesday.

It'd be nice, but if the Nuggets win the title with Murray playing like this it would catapault Jokic into the GOAT discussion instantaneously because he'd essentially have won 2 titles with a supporting cast consisting of zero all-stars.

He's lucky Dlo caused that late game turnover. If he would have let another game go without using a challenge, he might never recover

The Nuggets have been kind of careless this series. It's over but if Game 2 went just a tiny bit little differently we're talking 2-2 right now. They're going to need to be more checked in than that against Minnesota

Hachimura is due for a good game. Considering the way the previous four games have gone, I have no reason to believe the Nuggets will come out with great energy. They've been doing it all season.

The only way Game 5 turns into a blowout is if the Lakers role guys get tight with their season on the line since they won't have their home fans rooting them on.

I thought their goose was cooked the way they looked after game three. That was a hell of an effort.

Congrats to the Lakers for averting the sweep. They did two things they haven't done all series: outrebound the Nuggets and committed less turnovers. AD getting 23 rebound was the the difference maker here. It really should be 2-2 instead of 3-1. The game 2 choke job is what will haunt them.

Other points:
- Jokic was embarrassing defensively. He just showed no effort at all on that end. The Lakers had 72 points in the paint. Everyone was attacking the basket and scoring at will with no resistance at all. It was easily the worst performance he's had in a very long time because he did absolutely nothing on defense.
- The Nuggets bench finally got outplayed by the Lakers bench. I knew the honeymoon phase wasn't going to last long. Sure enough, it didn't.

Oh well, got to close it out in game 5.

Lakers have been ahead for like 140 minutes, Denver have been ahead for 40 minutes.

Insane that Denver are 3-1 up when Lakers should be
