It is interesting that the Lakers have had almost 3 times the number of minutes with the lead and yet trail the series 3-1. The idea that the Lakers conditioning is so bad that they have to use all their energy in the first half and Denver hasn’t even really gotten started is just bizarre at this level. I think the Lakers have the tools to take it to 6, but I doubt it goes further. I also wonder if there is a degree of playing with your food on the nuggets part?

The internet was a terrible idea for some people who consider themselves basketball fans, mind just down the gutter. Losing a lead equals chocking, scoring in the 4th quarter whilst leading equals statpadding. That's their analysis. Actual brainrot. In reality, LeBron put away one of the best closing teams in recent memory, matching them basket for basket. That's should give him nothing but praise as an almost 40 y/o man, but nope, no can do. I must submerge you all in my pool of idiocy.

Keep in mind that a lot of people write those kind of comments just to provoke a reaction. Some are also bots.

But, yea, Denver has the ability to get easy buckets via cuts, mini hooks, floaters, threes over shorter defenders etc. That means they are a constant threat.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

It was almost the same story where Denver just goes to another gear in the 2nd half. Lakers didn't allow that this time. Now will Denver make their adjustments and finally have a better first half in Game 5? Because if not, Lakers might just make this a series still. Murray has yet to have a good game in this series and if that continues, I'm expecting another close game.

Denver is gonna win the series but at least the winning streak was snapped. No sweep here. I'll take the W before I take the L.

Roleplayers are usually better at home. At long as Denver’s sorry bench plays better at home and Jamal plays above average then the nuggets will win by double digits for sure.

It'd be nice, but if the Nuggets win the title with Murray playing like this it would catapault Jokic into the GOAT discussion instantaneously because he'd essentially have won 2 titles with a supporting cast consisting of zero all-stars.

They're not going to win the title with Murray playing like this. The Lakers could easily make this a series if he doesn't start making shots. AD and Lebron aren't messing around.

"A loss is a loss, but if I'm Denver, I treat this like a REALLY bad SUPER-loss. Lakers really figured something out by not losing 12 straight games to the same team. That's one of those somewhat small adjustments that can win a series."

They’ve both been good all year. All-NBA caliber good. Puts into perspective how bad that roster is that they’re a play-in team.

Just finished watching the game. Denver is clearly the better team but I hope this game puts the idea that the NBA would do anything to extend a series for LeBron/Lakers to bed.

Down 3-0 at home yet the Nuggets went to the line any time there was any contact at all while the refs swallowed their whistles when LA was hit. Only 2 free throws for Bron when he lived in the paint. Not to mention some of the absurd out of bounds calls…

Which brings me to a more important point. What on Earth does it take for Ham to use a challenge??? He absolutely refuses to use them when it’s needed but uses them when the game is already over. The guy is terrible.

I didn't watch the game.

What was the adjustment the Lakers made to reduce Aaron Gordon to 7 points (3-7 FG)?
