Yes! i compare this to the Celtics Game 2 loss vs the Heat. Rather suffer those "bad" losses early in the Playoffs rather than later on against actual good teams (the Heat for Boston, the Lakers for Denver).

So yes, a wake up call that they can't stoop down to the level of opposition or it'll cost you a W somewhere along the way.

Easy win for Denver in Game 5, much like what Boston did to Miami today after that bad loss.

What you mean finally? They bitched after game 1 and have had the advantage ever since. Lebron shot 2 the whole game today despite attacking the basket like a mad man. Funny how there isn’t a peep about it on this board though…

To be fair, there was literally NO resistance. It was a layup line.

This is very true. I think there was one where LeBron may have had a point when he was upset he didn't get a foul.

But this kind of context also goes both ways. People tend to wonder why LA's FT differential is so high, when AD isn't in it's a layup line and horrible closeouts on 3s. There really isn't much of a chance to foul. This is PART of the issue. But that is an entirely different topic and I don't want to derail too much

If Denver doesn't win game 5 then there are real concerns about them repeating

The Nuggets have shot more FTs in 3 of 4 games.

Denver once again shoots more fts. 25-18 and this is considering Lebron and AD are attacking much more often

What a joke

And as usual, Lebron has one of the worst whistles of all time for a superstar. Refs need to be investigated for the last 14 years

Yes, i can agree with that. If they lose Game 5, and allow a play-in team like the Lakers get another W, IN Denver then there could be legit concerns. But i am not seeing them lose back to back games and as 7.5 favorites the next game.

Lakers win 1 out of 12 games and somehow they're gonna win 3 in a row? Never change, Real GM.

Still zero worries about winning this series obviously, but I am worried about Denver's effort. This isn't going to fly against Minnesota, OKC or Dallas. Those are actual good teams.

Minnesota is Denver's only competition in the West. Lakers would beat OKC and Dallas both in 6, warts and all.

Denver so far in the series has shot 37/134 (27.6%) from 3pt land. That % has to go up. Although to be fair LA also has room to improve with 34/122 (30.4%).

Joker needs to pull his head out of his ass too. 4 straight 1st quarters they keep losing. His passive game plan in the first quarter ain’t working when Murray hasn’t been good. I need him to be aggressive from the get go in game 5.

LA and Denver basically have the same shot distribution, but the Nuggets are just bigger, better coached, and more talented. Both teams really need to get into the paint and out in transition to be at their best.

Jokic is struggling with Dinwiddie guarding him in the post. We've seen this before with LeBron and JJ Barea

It happens to the best players, Ham just figured out that Jokic is uncomfortable with smaller players on him

Jokic is averaging 29 points on 69% True Shooting with 15 rebounds and 10 assists (with only 2.3 turnovers on average). IDK what more you want him to do offensively. Do you want him getting 35 a game on 75% True shooting with 15 assists and 1 turnover?

No. Idc about his overall stats. I’m specifically want to see a different mentality from him in the first quarter. How he plays out the rest of the game is whatever to me.

In the last three 4th quarters, James had scored 34pts while AD has had 5. That's to lopsided.
