Throw up a Boston banner for the "Celtics are favorites, what an amazing regular season". They might have like 4 in a row at this point

The nba wants the game to flow so you lose a timeout or that’ll be another stoppage. This was never a problem, but as usual because it’s the Lakers and they lost we need to make this an issue.

No, NBA needs to address that. They've made the challenge system needlessly convoluted. Forget TO's, just give each team one challenge and a second if they get it right. There's no reason to follow the NFL model.

And while we're at it, start using some technology in officiating. You can probably take all guess work out of out-of-bounds calls.

Man, this sh*t is f*cking depressing. You go into every game with no expectations, and in the end you're still left disappointed.

Congratulations to Denver.

Funny how LeBron only says its "just basketball" when he's on the verge of losing a series but never when he wins.

If he actually felt that way, he wouldn't need an army of paid media shills bending over to make excuses and micromanage the narrative.

If any other player had made this comment, you'd excoriate them for doing so and don't pretend you wouldn't.

Did you on purpose just miss the context of it like I just said? The irony is at a record high right now

Yeah telling role players who are shooting bad to keep it pushing because it's just basketball is so horrible. Burn him at the stake! What a loser! You're looking for anything right now to crucify him. It's worrying

Saying "just basketball" in ANY context is weak. Stop simping for him

It's not even simping, it's just logic. I don't like getting into it with the emotions of those who like to pick apart players words. Check my posts, I've never done it. Jokic has been famous for saying the NBA is just a job to him. It's just basketball. Just a job. Why would I care about stuff like that

I'm sure you were just as mad at Jokic for saying that, don't pretend you weren't

It's just a weird nitpick that people like yourself can't seem to help.

Davis kept all the games competitive but he doesn't have the overall impact to make his whole team better. That's was the whole difference in the series, the difference between Jokic and Davis, the latter is a force to be reckoned with but he isn't quite up there.

I'm a Spurs fan, trust me I'm not white knighting for the Lakers...

But even I can see it's not fair for a team to lose a timeout over someone else's mistake. Obviously it was a problem for them when they were stuck throwing up a half court prayer for their season when they should've had a TO in their pocket. The NBA should just give each team one free challenge for the game like the NFL and just call it a day.

Lebron, Welcome to the West

2019 - missed playoffs
2020 - mickey
2021 - 1st round exit
2022 - missed playoffs
2023 - swept WCF
2024 - 1st round exit

How crucial and lucky has being in the East been to Lebron’s career? Aside from a weak East he further added to that by colluding with stars already in the East further diluting the competition there (got Bosh and Wade later Ray Allen all of whom are stars in the East, then later colluded with a rising Kyrie also in from an East team)

I mean we already have Darvin Ham hit pieces as well as stories that say LeBron is open to 2 more years + playing with Bronny. Maybe they aren't real, but I have a hard time believing they aren't considering it's Shams, Jovan Buha, Sam Amick. LeBron likely had these ready for the loss, just like KD.

Still crazy that Jokic/Murray took 49 shots combined and didn't get fouled a single time on any of them. Lakers' defense is next level.

KCP had a horrible shooting series. They need him with normal shooting against Minnesota

KCP got his ass kicked and broken by LeBron
He didn't have a bad series, he just got dominated

Dealing with Edwards would be a lot easier since he doesn't have the strength/size LeBron does
Bronny will become Murray 2.0

Those didn't have to come from LeBron fam. Any of the 15 guys on the roster could give you quotes for a Ham hit piece, and that's not counting others in the org. Hell even Max Christie had shade to throw.

He has stepped up this game. He had two huge offensive rebounds this game that lead to direct buckets

I mean, the hit piece and the LeBron will play 2 more years dropped at the same time. I'd wager LeBron is involved in both. If Ham is gone next year, it's almost certain that LeBron is involved here.

Why would this be controversial? Ham has been absolutely roasted in every Laker forum, on here and reddit.
