He's playing injured so doubtful. Maxey needs another big game to win and hope he does cause I believe in him.

As a Kentucky fan, I watched his matches. You could see the potential but never expected this. I was happy we got him though.
Digressing a bit, but when he had the 3rd pick, I wanted us to trade down to get Fox-Monk to not break up the electric Kentucky backcourt. They played so well together and fed off the other one’s energy. Watch their Kentucky highlights and you’ll see what I mean. Instead we went up. If the sixers wouldn’t trade down to try to get those two, I was okay with Josh Jackson (lol). Happy the two wildcats are back together.

Tobias Harris with another stinker. The easiest prediction.

I say the slate is clean at this point. You all should be happy with 2 shots to close it out.
I’m satisfied with lower odds, but just a chance to keep on playing.

Knicks fans aren't crying about Game 5. We just acknowledged the missed call but no one is carrying on for days and days like Sixers fans did about Game 2.

...that does make it a lot harder for us to finish things tonight, but we can't let the league's desire to see a game 7 get in the way of getting Jalen some rest before round 2

Damn..

Haven't the Sixers been gifted enough between Game 3 non-ejection and Game 5 missed call, now they're giving them the Extender too?

Just checked our record with ref crew

Knicks

Scott Foster: 4-2
Bill Kennedy: 2-3
Mark Lindsay: 2-1

Overall: 8-5
---

Sixers

Scott Foster: 4-0
Bill Kennedy: 2-1
Mark Lindsay: 1-1

Overall: 7-2

----
Is the NBA even trying to hide that it's rigged anymore?

They pick the guy known as the extender and he has a 4-0 record for the Sixers when he refs... Honestly ridiculous lol

We've got a pretty solid record against Foster the last two seasons...although he does call more fouls on us than our opponents. Just gunna have to make sure the game isn't close enough for there to be an question about the final result :dontknow:

Chill out and enjoy this run, this team is up to some magical s*** this year while playing with house money 8-)

Lets not act like Joel Embiid and Sixer fans and have to rely on refs to win

Lets just make our shots and clamp up, that way the refs won't be able to decide the game

Exp0sed wrote:maybe there's something i'm missing but I think Thibs needs to break out some small ball in game 6, especially early when the Knicks aren't in the penalty

if Joe L is hobbling and injured as some here claim and it's certainly evident that he isn't getting back on defense half the time and def doesn't have the stamina combined with how bad the 76ers are playing when he's on the floor, wouldn't it be better for the Knicks to just run more?

just start Mcbride, put OG at the 5 and run. gang up on Embiid if he gets deep with great defenders all of whom are very mobile, foul from time to time if u can be sure the foul's on the floor

Embiid is having a hard time stepping all the way up, playing Hartesnsten (or Mitch) allows him to drop back and hang back and also allows him to conserve energy. why not put OG at the top of the key in those PNR's and force him to step up higher, cover more gound and move more?

spacing would be great for the Knicks, which would make Brunson's life easier. if Embiid is stepping high, every little give and go and Brunson can just go downhill with speed and Embiid on his back, can also pass to cutters from the dunker's spot and Embiid will have a hard time recovering in time to challenge at the rim with his "limited mobility", Harte, OG, Mcbride can all finish well inside too (if Embiid is dragged away from the basket)

Thibs is playing into the 76ers hands by playing at a slow, halfcourt style. just run up and down the court, Embiid will pass out after 40 mins.

p.s, they can try a version of it with Precious as well but that's a riskier option naturally. can still give it a go, for sure
he can some 3's, maybe if he makes one the game can open up a little more and he's very mobile too

starting Mcbride and putting OG at the 5 would also allow Mcbride to check Maxey, which would be a good idea for the Knicks imo

We were practically begging for Precious last game. It was pretty wild he couldn't get into G5 after being part of the unit that took G4.

He was actually solid last game.

To me he is the third best player in the NBA - Luka and Embiid are comfortably ahead of him.

Why do 76ers fans hate Tobias Harris when he's the one that shows up for big games? Looking at last year's box scores, I see that in G7 against the Celtics Tobias got 19 points on 13 shots while Embiid struggled as he usually does in the playoffs.

Sorry not to grasp the urbane sophistication in all those “traveling” vids being posted the past 2 days.

Calling games 2 and 5 a clean swap (Maxey getting clobbered a couple of times vs dragging his foot) is somehow unacceptable?
Because one was weak histrionics while the 2nd is calm, clear-eyed commentary? YMMV

Cheering for the Knicks to win the series but the allure of a Game 7 is just too exciting! (i don’t think we’ll see a G7 in the first round, except this i hope.

So go Sixers, for the meantime, but go Knicks! LOL

Thats really not a meaningfully difference. You should expect large swings through out the season, happens every single year. You can look at any team and see refs that have crazy good or bad records with them

i think Orlando can still push for a game 7. They play much better at home and were very close to stealing game 5.
