I didn't see any...we stayed in MidTown (Le Meridien to be exact) Walked all over the place and didn't see one. Took the subway a handful of times and felt completely safe.

In California and here in Phoenix, there are homeless and crazy people even in nice areas which is why I was surprised I didn't see any mentally disturbed people in NYC.

I travel to Times Square quite regularly and take subway like 4-5 times a month and it's mostly fine...once in a while you will come across a weirdo in subway but nothing crazy. I do think they can improve hygiene in some parts of subway where it doesn't smell good

I had people tell me not to ride the subway...which if you don't it's insanely expensive to Uber everywhere. Every Uber is at least $20 and we took one for like $40 and it was maybe 3 miles. So we said let's give the Subway a shot since it's like $3 or whatever and yeah...easy and well worth it. We had a great time although I could never live there

I don't think this was talked about nearly enough if at all on TV.....that was the most egregious example of a league protecting a star player imo in recent memory. Was there even a hint that the league looked into the play afterwards? Usually something to that effect comes out.

Who knows what would've happened, but the statistics of this series definitely suggests NY would've run away with G3.

But compare Maxey and Brunson?

Do you Knicks fans understand how pathetic that is?

Get with the RealGM program. EMBIID SUCKS. So how much help can he be to Maxey?

Do you genuinely believe Maxey is better than Brunson?

Even if I think he is better (I am a Sixers fan), here are two things you cannot argue:

1) Brunson is in his SIXTH season, while Maxey is in his fourth (you wanna compare Brunson's fourth season to Maxey?), and

2) Maxey is FOUR YEARS YOUNGER than Brunson. Slam-dunk win for Maxey.

It is amazing what Maxey is doing in the playoffs at the age of 23. Would you agree?

What is also true is that:

1) This is Brunson’s 6th season, but his 3rd year playing over 60 games as a starter.

2) Maxey struggled as the sole focus of the offense when Embiid was out. Brunson turned it up a notch when Randle went out.

3) The Sixers were on the verge of missing the play-in had Embiid not come.


I do agree, he’s been amazing. I’ve watched a ton of him this season. But he’s not at Brunson’s level yet.

All momentum is with the 76ers now. And the Knicks have unlocked Maxey's ultimate mode

This is starting to feel similar to the Heat series last year where even Brunson was getting tired and started making stupid mistakes.

Knicks had this series won and all they had to do was not give up a 4-point play. You saw it in the players and coaches faces. They are done. They don't have it in them to play 2 more games in this series.

There’s footage out there that say Maxey travelled on the 4 point play. Sixers and their fans are lucky af they weren’t sent home.

…now for me, I’m not blaming that call for us losing. Because that’s a good no-call. Let the players decide it at that point. Sixers and their fans wouldn’t know about that

That and eurostepping into the defender instead of around them, and then throwing your body backwards, that shouldn't be rewarded either, and yet they give him those calls every time, its ridiculous.

My prediction:

Knicks lose Game 6, they will not win Game 7.

I feel like they need to come out guns blazing in game 6 and put this one clearly away, not let Sixers even hang around.

If it goes to Game 7, with all the confidence that Game 5 just gave the Sixers, it will cause them to win Game 7.
