But you already know that Adam Silver was carefully watching the officiating crew and Embiid.
As far as an NBA darling, those days just went out the window after his antics in game 3.

Should really be 4-0. But the refs had to gift you a game
You mean the refs gifted you guys a game. I know that **** hurts your soul. Deep down you it's 2-2.
all of this talking and you didn't notice the difference in Embiids play today? He was on his best behavior expect for one play where he put his elbow and arm on Brunson's face. Outside of that...he was asking Knick players if they were ok,etc...he was very caring today...
You know why? Adam Silver was present and why do you think he was present? I'll tell you...He was present because he couldnt suspend the MVP for his bush league behavior...
All season long the Knicks play from behind and win. Nothing new- Dirtbiid go his calls but got outshined by Big body Brunson.
End of story.

Yes, nobody cares about the Nets. Just cause a new team moved to NYC doesn't mean Brooklyn is gonna stop cheering for their Knicks.
For those that don't know the Nets have more fans from back when they were the NJ Nets than they do fans in Brooklyn....
NYC & the entire state of NY will ALWAYS be a Knicks town... not even the Yankees, Giants or Rangers could ever supplant them
Butch718 wrote::lol: Embiid…
To be fair he was guarded by OG and Precious. We got dogs on this team.

I think they had a brief chance to grab a lot of market share if they had built a sustainable contender with Durant and the Knicks continued to sputter out. Of course, that experiment turned into the Benny Hill Show while the Knicks put something sustainable into place. Now they're a Jersey institution in the middle of Knicks town.
Too bad so sad.

Philly was literally playing in MSG today
I think there was even more Knicks fans in the arena from the cheers inside as I was there too. So pissed we lost but props to Brunson.DaGawd wrote:JustBuzzin wrote:I never seen a fanbase takeover an arena.

i was there today, it was def a legit 50/50 split approximately of knicks to 76er fans… we were just louder than them

It’s actually pretty messed up what the Nets tried to do to Brooklyn. No one in Brooklyn wanted that
