Hartenstein went out with 5 fouls with just under 2 minutes left in the 3rd. Embiid had 24 points and was 9/10 from the line. From that point on, OG was the primary defender on Embiid. He finished the game 0-5 and 3/4 from the line. He put the clamps on him and Embiid just fell apart.

The craziest thing about it is that OG likely never would have been defending Embiid down the stretch if Mitchell Robinson was healthy. Ironically, he missed tonights games because Embiid flopped into his ankles. Just a crazy turn of events that actually won us this game (plus Brunson dominating).

As a Knicks fan, it’s finally great to have karma on our side.

Nets missed their chance. In 20 there were a ton of fans and the Knicks were bad.

When you went to Knicks games for the new few years there were a ton of fans.

But obviously they screwed it all up and we are back to square one.

I never said there were no net fans. I said Brooklyn is still Knick territory and always will be. Most net fans I’ve met were OGs from NJ.

Well Knicks tickets are way more expensive than Sixers tickets. Not surprised. Were also a more hardcore and loyal fanbase than the Sixers.

Brunson manages to be terrific without the benefit of an MVP level center to draw defenders away from him for easy baskets. No knock to Maxey but Brunson is on a whole notha level.

i wouldn’t say bandwagon. there was a lot of fed up fans who just gave up on the team with their endless futility the last 2 decades or so. i think this team has captured the heart of a lot of those fans who gave up and they’ve come back now, they honestly resemble a lot of those 90s teams which was the last time it felt like the knicks were legitimate contenders consistently

We already saw when Knicks were bad and Nets had 2 stars, Knicks still owned the city, sorry fam. I'm a fan of the 'little brother' in every other sport, so I know its hard, but I can readily admit that the other teams fans outweigh ours, and the Nets is easily the worst/smallest fanbase in comparison to the Knicks, vs Mets/Yankees, Jets/Giants, Islanders/Rangers where the ratio of fans is much closer.

Nets to Knicks ratio is probably like 5% Nets/ 95% Knicks, where as Mets/Yankees is like 40/60, Jets/Giants like 45/55, and Islanders/Rangers probably like 25/75.

Nah, they’re not from here. If you’re from here the Knicks are the only option, you could like some combo of giants/jets, isles/rangers, Yankees/mets but everyone was a Knicks fan.
