Agree that Embiid brought the effort, but he didn't really have a great game. Poor shooting night. He scored a lot because of the high volume of FGAs and FTAs

Maxey has been the best player and I said it before the series he was as good as Brunson and everybody laughed, despite being down 0-2 Maxey has been the superior player no doubt about it.

Sixers are selling out their whole defense to make sure Brunson doesn’t get it going. Maxey isn’t facing close to the same defense.

But that’s neither here nor there. Maxey choked in the end while Brunson came up big in those last seconds.

I’m not giving him credit for playing while injured. If he’s out there, he should be playing his ass off and hustling in moments like that. He might’ve kept it close, but his lack of hustle cost them the game.

Uh, you have to consider the strategies each team are going with. 76ers are throwing EVERYTHING at Brunson, can you say the Knicks are playing Maxey the same way? Brunson has forced some shots, but you can't take these two games and then make an assessment of who the better player is. When Embiid missed significant time in the season, did Maxey keep his team rolling like Brunson did?

Tough to have some serious old legs playing such heavy minutes (Lowry 38, Batum 35) and Embiid only has enough juice for like 3 quarters. Sixers need more from some of their young bench players. Buddy only 15 minutes and 2 three point attempts?

It’s a lack of hustle when you get out worked for a rebound in a desperate moment like that. He also didn’t have a rebound that entire 4th quarter.

Again, if he’s not healthy, then he shouldn’t be playing. Give him credit for being out there and helping his team, but give him his criticism when he **** the bed. It’s the same thing with Embiid every year.
