Its not that he’s not great, its that hes absolutely terrible defensively.

If this were true, the Nuggets would be an easy out every year.

This thread is silly but that doesn’t mean Jokic isn’t amazing.

It’s no insult to say he’s below Shaq, Duncan, LeBron etc.

The only players better than Jokic since bulls MJ are Shaq, TD, and LeBron but you can put him with anyone else.

Having watched the 2004 Finals, and specifically Kobe’s performance vs a defense like that, I’m not so sure it’d make much difference

Jokic is a puppet. I can tell he's not in the GOAT discussion because any GOAT who on the verge of getting swept would be getting crucified.

MJ/LeBron got hate, Jokic hasn't received that kind of hate throughout his career. All of the best players have to have a hate bandwagon of fans. Jokic is a good guy who people root for. It's why he can't be the face of the NBA.

Giannis was supposed to be that guy he failed. Jokic is going the Giannis route as of now.

Ant is next up. Poor kid doesn't know what's about to come with all that pressure.

It's still MJ/LeBron and everyone else is a tier below.

Steph is also ahead. He matched Jokic's peak in terms of production, and he has more titles (even if we don't count the KD ones).

He already led his team to a championship without another all star in his team and is about to possibly win his second in a row after leading his team to the #2 record. Please tell us, how exactly is he hurting his team?
