Brunson hit a 3, Hart stole the ball, Hartenstein crashed the boards, OG made the right pass, Divencenzo made the 3, Hartenstein made an amazing block, OG hit two FTs. I get Philly fans complaining, it's a heartbreaking loss, but those non-calls in the last 30 seconds on that one Maxey play are commonplace. Hell, Knick fans dealt with the Charles Smith game. Refs swallow their whistles in the playoffs at the end of games. Nothing about that Maxey play was egregious. You have Lowry flopping like a fish and Maxey falling down for some reason. Philly looks horrible this morning with all of their complaining.

Which video are you watching? Check this picture where Nurse is clearly calling timeout while Lowry still has the ball:

Play the actual footage. Showing these stills does nothing but make you Philly fans look bad

Look closely at the picture you just posted if the video I included above doesn't work for you, Nurse's hand is still curled up. He doesn't start to straighten it to make the TO signal until after the ball is leaving/out-of Lowry's hands.

Go to 4:57. It's very clear Nurse isn't saying anything, and he has his hands up but isn't actually signaling for a TO. He hesitates. He then pulls his hands back. If he wants to call a timeout, make the gesture SUPER clear and actually yell for a timeout. What he did is not a timeout. You can even see at 5:03 he is CLEARLY trying to signal for a timeout, screaming at the ref. Unfortunately, it was too late because the ball was already out of Maxey's hands. Compare the two timestamps and you'll see it's clear as day.

I'd like a better angle on the Hart push on Maxey. That's the one in my mind the Sixers might have a legitimate gripe about. I've got a real issue with bigger guys pushing smaller guys, having it result in a turnover, and the officials swallowing the whistle.

You do know putting your 2 hands up is not calling a time out right? Nurse put his hand up in preparation to call a time out but actually didn't. He even pulled his hands back thinking he didnt need to. Stop being disingenuous. At no point when lowry had the ball did he actually call a time out.

lol, there's a reason I like the video in WWW's tweet, it's a lot less pixal-y than the stills that philly fans are re-posting

That's the big 3. Bigfoot, Nessy, and Nurse actually calling a timeout :P

I wonder if that had anything to do with the ref watching Maxey push Hart off literally right before that?

Adam silver asked these guys to try in the all star game and they spit in his face. He basically told these guys to hold my beer and took the grifting away from them.
Major props to Adam Silver because he is a gangsta.

These are great pictures. No doubt Brunson fouled Maxey there. Would this be 2 free throws for 76ers or Knicks had a foul to give?

Embiid getting freethrows untouched no issue. Donte getting an obvious foul called back no issue. Maxey getting his jersey pulled then losing the ball flopping is a travesty.

It would be knicks ball because Maxey fouls Hart before this even happens.

They aren't talking about this because it wasn't a push. It was a flop. Tell Maxey man up.

Because some Philly fans don't like what the video shows, so they're not watching them.
