Would love to see an explanation for how the jersey tug affects Maxey's ability to secure the pass but his pushing Hart away from him & off balance doesn't...being genuine here. I would like to understand why one is marginal contact and the other isn't. Hart's motion is impeded much more than Maxey's, no?

That is such a throwback characterization of New York City and the Knicks. I love it.

It was pretty obvious all game that the Knicks got a favourable whistle but isn’t that what having a great home crowd is all about? By adding more subjectivity into what’s a foul and not, it feels like the nba has restored/increased the impact home court has on the game. Is that part of why home teams are 11-0 so far?

I don't even feel like watching any more of the playoffs this year. The sport just feels tainted to me now. Nba needs to fix their officiating. Why even release a report if there's no consequences.

A professional league needs to be better.

Ya this was brutal to watch im not even a 76er fan and I felt bad for them I was just watching to see how lowry did. Add to the fact nurse clearly called timeout on the inbound and on the inbound receive. 76ers should win there like 99.5% of the time. The refs found the 0.5%

Its funny to see realgm call you complainers when it was a clear robbery as an unbiased watcher

Then you probably didn't read the league's report in the OP

Nurse's 2nd attempt is ignored simultaneous to Hart touching the ball and Philly losing possession, accord to the link in the OP to the League's last2minutes report.

There is also video of Nurse staring at Maxey and freezing.

But yeah, it's interesting that before the ball was inbounded he signalled for a timeout and was ignored?

Such a crazy sequence of events, took lucky bounces, refs missing a clear foul, refs ignoring a timeout request, coach freezing for a second and rebounds not secured.

If the refs are going to call hold the jersey as fouls from here on out, looks like Brunson will have a field day drawing fouls from Oubre and Batum. They’ve been tugging and pulling during inbound plays the entire time.

Tbh it looked more like Nurse backed out of calling the first time out once the ball was inbounded (thus avoiding a 5 second violation) and he was never going to get the second one as Maxey wasn't in control of the ball.

In an atmosphere like that you're never going get timeouts unless you're screaming at the ref. Nurse screwed up.
