Kevin Durant - Next Steps

Post#1 » by pushfloater » Sun Apr 28, 2024 4:30 pm

Where does he go from here? Team hop again or just ride off into the sunset with the Suns? I personally want to see an OKC reunion.

Going back to OKC would be another bi&$ move. Now that they are stacked he goes there? Come on. Durant might be the only player in history that has somehow managed to reduce his legacy over the years rather than lift it. But yeah, going to OKC would be classic Durant. Always looking for great teams

Soooooo…. Right on brand for KD?

It legit wouldn’t surprise me for a second for him to demand a trade this summer and he’ll ask (again) for one of the leagues top teams; Dallas, OKC, Denver or Boston (and maybe Miami cause it’s Miami).

Go to OKC and be part of a title winner as the old wise veteran. Work to re earn OKC fanbase's trust and retire a Thunder with the fan love he wants.

Just learn to ignore all the bitter online hatred, and goat list bullcrap.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

That would put Westbrook on suicide watch

I guess it depends on this playoff run but they are clearly missing a major piece from winning a title and it's quite likely they lose next round to a lower ranked but more veteran team anyway. Enter KD. Probably the best way to end his career, while having a legit team around him.

Would require PHX willing to blow it all the way up which I don't see but it makes sense for all parties and fans will get over it quickly.

Presti is not trading for Durant, so how would he go back to OKC?

Go to Turkey and get that hair transplant.

I'm tired of seeing those KD hair memes on my IG feed.

Yeah it's a ridiculous notion if you look at the contracts. They would have to send everybody except SGA pretty much just to match Durant's salary. No way in hell is that happening. Easy yes if I'm Phoenix, but it's hell no if I'm OKC.

Why not? Do they really need all of those picks?

You'd have to send everybody but SGA just to match Durants 50 million dollar salary. SGA + Durant + scrubs is not a contender. Not achilles tear Durant. You do understand there's a salary cap and you can't just trade somebody without matching salary etc... right? Has nothing to do with picks.

Because they don't like him. And they don't want him ruining what they built. If you want KD to join OKC, make the trade on your favorite video game. It's not happening in real life.

OKC doesn't make much sense to me.
There's no need for OKC to pursue KD.

Durant and Lebron are not max contract players anymore, but they'll be paid like they are. Good luck winning with that.

I hope he doesn’t go to a promising team on the rise. He will ruin them.

OKC, NY and wolves should stay away.
