Durant, Booker, and Beal have the worst +/- of any trio in the playoffs
This should probably signal the end of the so-called “superteam era”. Filling up your roster with talent, regardless of fit, won’t get it done in today’s league.

Great article. This pretty much sums it up:
On a fundamental level, it was an attempt to out-talent the rest of the NBA.
That was an achievable goal in 2010. Super-teams didn't fully exist as a concept yet outside of Boston, whose three best players were all in their mid-30s. The league wasn't nearly as deep, and it wasn't as smart, either. The 2011 Rockets had a top-five offense with Kevin Martin as their leading scorer because they were one of the few teams to optimize their shot-selection.
The Suns tried a 13-year-old trick in an older, wiser league. Miami's investment in three stars was unprecedented at the time.
It also further solidifies the fact that the league is just so much better and more talented todays than it’s ever been, despite so many people being in denial.

They had Allen, Nurkic, Gordon and O'Neal as well. Durant literally had a hand-picked all star squad and couldn't win one game in the playoffs.

Being worse than whatever the trio in Miami is (particularly the 3rd guy), is wild.
