Jokic hasn’t played at his best. Yet.

Jamal Murray is about at clutch as they come. MPJ is playing great. Aaron Gordon is everywhere. KCP is experienced and can defend. Joker is an all time great

Don't pretend like it's not about not liking Jokic with you though. Your post history is pretty straightforward on that.

I do like Jokic. I said he was already a top 20 player. I just don't consider him a GOAT candidate type player.

The Nuggets are barely handling the 7th seed Lakers who can't shoot 3s. I know it's 3-1, but the Lakers have lead for far more minutes during this series. Without Murray playing way above his head and like a superstar, the team isn't that special. Jokic is basically God, but it's a team game. They are going to really struggle against the better teams in the west.

I see this as a problem though forward for this team. Murray isn't THAT good, MPJ has injury concerns. I wouldn't be surprised if the Nugs don't win another championship with this roster.

they have a great superstar

but they play in a parity year which means most teams are s***t

the old guys are old

it's a great time to be a nugget

No, we have seen enough.
They pretty clearly were not "a top contender". Weren't even a dark horse contender tbh.

I don't think Jamal Murray and KCP will shoot poorly forever. I think they'll start to hit shots consistently, as they have throughout their respective playoff careers.

Christian Braun, Justin Holiday, and Reggie Jackson may or may not snap out of their slumps but I am absolutely confident Murray and KCP will.

Their bench should player better against wolves. Lebron always abuses young players.

Lakers had two starters and zero bench and still was kicking their ass this whole series until the 4th quarter each game because of fatigue

Lakers were incredibly underrated. I’m sorry but I would much rather play the wolves or thunder as both are playoff babies than Lebron James + AD. Playoff and championship experience matters.

Lebron and AD played GREAT and Nuggets still beat them 4-1. Put down the pipe.

Flipping the switch? Shifting to another gear?
For me there is such a thing as certain teams just playing with just enough focus and effort to win games. Others call it playing with their food.
