Despite his offensive misadventures I thought his defense held up shockingly well against the Lakers even when switched onto bigger guys. If he gets hot from 3 he can help this squad; if he doesn't, he just has to handle the ball for the 8-12 minutes Jamal sits and try not to screw up too badly.

I gotta go with the experience of the Nuggets to win this in 7. I think KCP might be able to at least make Edwards work harder. Beal is not a defender and neither was Booker, who was busy scoring. I think Murray is going to be a problem for Minnesota, and that will be the difference. Also, on kick outs Michael Porter Jr should get clean looks.

I feel like I really could be wrong.

Karl Anthony Townes has a size mismatch, and Rudy could really tire Jokic out. The rebounds won't come as easily. Then again, the other rebounder at PF for Denver is good. I'll stick with Denver in 7, maybe 6.

That Nuggets depth is undefeated. Your 2 best players can keep up with Jokic and Murray all they want but no one can compete with the dominance of MPJ, KCP, Air Gordon and sometimes playoff Reggie especially in that altitude. But I'm hoping Naz, McDaniels, NAW, Conley can.

Jokic's assists go way down against the Wolves (4 APG this season). They try to make him beat them by scoring (Edwards admitted this in his interview today). Last season in the playoffs the in the 4 playoff losses Jokic had 53,43,41,30.

I think this will be a decisive win for Denver due to their defense. Minnie looks clueless on offense at times anyways, so when faced with a competent team, they will go through actual offensive droughts. Denver in 6

Jamal Murray has averaged 19.1 points, 4.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 21 games versus the Timberwolves in his career. Most recently: 13, 14, 28, 14, 18, 20. We’ll see if playoff Murray shows up again.

Phoenix D was top 10 last half of season. Wolves offense is #1 so far in playoffs.

Ugh this game one is tough to call. Line says Minnesota +4.5… totals at 208.5.

Series bet on the Wolves but i don’t think this is the road game that they steal.

Feel like Jokic will have to force the issue much more than against the Lakers. It will be important to tire Towns and make their interiors foul as much as possible.

I do too. Then Denver steals one in Minny, and wins in either 6 or 7.

But if Denver wins the first two games, I think they close it out in 5.

Also, I know people werent impressed by Denver vs LA.

But here's the thing, Murray was horrible until game 5. Game 5 was the first time he looked like himself.

Denver also shot 30% from the 3 the series. 30%!

Denver is due for a normal shooting night, and Murray is due for a better series

And frankly, Denver is due for A good game..they haven't had a good game all series.

The fact that they still beat an LA team with two top 10 players playing like 1st team all NBA guys in 5 says a lot.

If shots are falling, the Wolves are getting smoked.

I’m real interested in this matchup. I dont think ive ever felt this way about any other Wolves team but im def intrigued.

Im going with Nuggets but I really do feel like if Minny plays to the level they have all year than they can win this series but I just dont see it. Will be a great test tho

Unbelievably hyped for this one. Should be extremely high level basketball. I can't think of a team that could in theory match up against the Nuggets on all three levels than this Wolves squad.
