Love and respect Jokic and Denver. They went through years to break through and did. That’s what concerns me as Wolves fan even after sweeping a team where we had the 3rd best player on the floor going in and were under dogs. I think it goes 7 and can’t say who honestly I think comes out. I’ve been impressed with anyone on either side that says it goes 6 or 7 for the rationale. Finally went back to what I thought I remembered to 2015 to confirm Okafor was the offensive pick and Towns was the defender with question marks on offense.

If not the best series in playoffs will be top 2.

So in other words, in the regular season the matchup is 8-6.

The Suns are not a good team, I feel like Minnesota is being overrated.

Wolves in six...Nuggets had a weird feel to that Lakers series, really didn't play great even once.

What I love about these videos is that I can tell what year they're from just based on whether the coaches are wearing suits (March 2020 and prior) or this dry-fit crap (July 2020 to present).

Side note: can anyone imagine Pat Riley wearing a dry-fit instead of a suit? That's been the worst change in the game.

Well, we could give some credit to Davis and Lebron for disrupting Denver's flow. AD was a beast averaging 27.8/15.6/4 with 2 stocks a game and Bron averaged 27.8/8.8/6.8 with 3.4 stocks per game. The series may have had a different outcome if the Lakers had some solid guard play

If only LeBron cleaned up a couple crucial mistakes on both end, particularly on defense, Lakers would have won the series… Grandpa Time calling LeBron

The Nuggets were playing with their food because they know they can turn it on at any moment against a team like the Lakers.

- Nikola Jokic has shot 50% or better in 68 of 84 games this season (81%)... and 77 out of 89 games last season (87%)
- He's shot above 50% in only one of the past 4 games (25%) vs. Minnesota when Gobert was playing, too.

Might be nothing. Might be irrelevant... it's obviously a small sample size. Whether or not there is anything to MN being one of the better teams matched up with Jokic... Jokic will have some incredible stat lines and remain the clearcut best player on the court.

This may turn out to be true, but I just find it hard to believe it's a good sign to trail a series 73% vs a 7th seed. I may just end up being totally wrong, but Denver didn't look like a power house.

 It was the most important game that decided seeding for both teams, when he shot 16-20 (2-2 on 3s) for 41 :D
To be fair KAT didn't play in that game and he is as important as Gobert for slowing down Jokic

If you are including last years series. Jokic had a sprained wrist.

Just looking forward to a good series, hope it goes at least 6 games no matter who wins.

I think there is a possibility this series ends up being better than the Finals.

Give LA credit for slowing Denver down a bit. For sure.

Gobert/McDaniels/Ant/NAW will slow Denver down at least as much as LA did.
