So we're going to ignore Jokic fouling LeBron when he was on a fastbreak?

So we're going to ignore James Naismith for inventing basketball which created rules for fouling which allowed LeBron James to be born in Akron Ohio and Jokic to be born in Serbia but both were afforded the opportunity to play the game of basketball where Jokic could foul LeBron during the fastbreak in the NBA?

Not a foul.
Cope harder, Lakers trolls (sorry about your early exit, legit Lakers fans, your team played well).

Maybe college, but you are never getting that call in a professional basketball game.

This is some grade A copium OP.

Not only was it not a foul on KCP, it should have been an offensive foul for jumping into the defender.

For clarity, other teams players get touched sometimes and it’s not necessarily a foul. Hard to understand I’m sure.

I mean, have you seen a game thread? Nobody knows what a foul is anymore. Lets not pretend that's exclusive to lakers fans.

you gonna act like nobody's gonna make another thread like this for the playoffs going forward? LOL

Jamal and Jokic had 0 shooting fouls drawn on 49 FGA. I don't ever, ever want to hear a Lakers fan complaining about refs. If the Lakers get screwed in the next 500 consecutive games they'll still be way ahead of any other teams as far as favorable treatment.

I know it's hard for Laker fans to believe that one of their players can take a contested shot without it resulting in a trip to the free throw line but it actually IS possible. In this case, his defender was standing still with his arms upright and the shooter launched himself into him. That's not a foul (although if it was LeBron shooting who knows)

Kind of hard to commit fouls if you don't bother to contest shots.

I don't think there are too many guys in the league shooting half court shots as if it were a pull up jumper, so of course he is going to be moving forward on the shot.

If that was closer to the 3-point line then it 100% would have been a foul, but it was a half-court shot so it should not be called.

Who would that be? It's no one on this current team.

Is someone really saying, in all seriousness, that that was a foul?

It was a foul, but I'm glad the game wasn't decided on free-throws off a half-court heave. Obviously, that's not fair to the Lakers but it would just be an annoying end to a game that was over. I'm surprised KCP would even challenge the shot that aggressively.

I'm surprised this wasn't a big deal after the game. I would be furious if my player got fouled with a chance to win the game and they ignored it because it was a last second shot.

Lakers was robbed last night and we all know it.

Thoughts?

That isn't mercy!

If the game ended with a foul call on a halfcourt heave from Prince while he launched himself into a defender, it would have been the biggest travesty in NBA history. Lakers' fans have no idea what a foul is anymore.

This post is not about Lakers fans. I'm a Hornets fan.

The fact is he was fouled.

Your thoughts are wrong, but I will allow you to have an opinion without talking about other fan bases. You're welcome. :D
