Who is most responsible for OKC's success this season?
Obviously there have been a number of factors but what do you think has been the single biggest reason they went from hovering around .500 to being the #1 seed in a year's time?

The guy who’s an MVP candidate. Second would be Presti or the owners who signed off on Prestis rebuild plan

SGA is MVP candidate, couldn't do it without him. But again, he was all nba first team last year, he was already special. I think Chet was the final piece that unlocked that team. But I voted Presti, he us the one tgat built the team, all these great players need one another, Presti put them together.

OKC would just be a team with a nice future if they didn't have SGA
SGA is a superstar and is their win now player

Re: Who is most responsible for OKC's success this season?
I'd still have to go with SGA. Presti traded for him so, it still technically counts for him but SGA's ascension is the single biggest reason. That jump is impossible for ~95% of the league and he's only double down this season coming back even better this year. Other than his actual play, the other piece that made vote for him is the type of leadership and impact he has on the rest of the team. It seems like everybody else on this roster has been molded into his personality and the teams' overall connectivity is a direct result his influence.
I feel like his lone season in LA with vets like Pat Bev, Lou and Trezz set him on the right path in regards to working hard to develop and then spending a year with CP3 molded him into the player he is today. His ability to operate in the paint and mid range area is a direct result of all the time he spent learning from Lou, Chris and even Schroeder.

Presti. He traded for SGA, drafted JDub, drafted Chet, grabbed Dort as an undrafted FA, hired Daignault, drafted Cason Wallace, established the team culture, and on, and on, and on. It's Presti.

For this season in particular it's Chet. He's the difference between being the no 1 seed and fighting for the play in. In general Presti for being able to assemble this team with all this talent and still has a war chest of assets to add to it. Then SGA.

Re: Who is most responsible for OKC's success this season?
The answer is probably Shai since he's their best player, but he did finish 5th in MVP voting last year. Last year was really the huge jump (2nd in most improved player voting), this year he's probably even better but 12th in most improved voting.
I'll go with Daigneault, with Chet as a close second, for their 17 win improvement on last season. I think they're rock solid schematically on both ends of the court. A big part of that is upgrading from Williams to Chet at the 5 spot, but I'll give the most credit to Daigneault for getting this young guys to buy into a style of play.

I hate to say it but honestly I think the biggest reason is Chet being as good as he is as a rookie. He just fits what they needed so well and being an efficient offensive player with a defensive impact like him allows the other guys to do their things too. Individually he may not best player but he is the one who has raised the team's ceiling by allowing them to play a certain way and not lose anything on either side of the court

EPM shows SGA is literally worth 20 wins himself. So gonna go with him. But I do think Chet coming back and Jalen’s leap is the difference between 40-45 ish wins like the previous year and nearly 60 this year.

SGA or Presti are good answers. SGA is the engine. Sam actively acquired all these guys.

Re: Who is most responsible for OKC's success this season?
SGA is obviously the most important factor behind the total number of wins but he isn't the most important factor behind their improvement this season relative to last season (since he was exceptional last season).
I'd argue the big difference is that OKC last year was a bit of a carry job from SGA, whereas this season it's more of an ensemble with a range of guys making strong contributions. So the biggest contributor to the improvement relates to guys like Holmgrem (new) and Jalen Williams (improved). Last season Giddy was probably the teams second best player and today he's perhaps the fourth or fifth best player.
And then you need to give credit to the coaching staff for getting a bunch of young guys on the same page and in a position to succeed. I don't think we should underestimate that contribution.
