Presti and Spoelstra

Post#1 » by Slimjimzv » Wed May 1, 2024 7:03 pm

In my opinion, one is the best GM in basketball, the other is the best coach in basketball and neither have won their respective awards. What the hell is wrong with these voters?

I realize it's not a 'lifetime achievement award', but what Presti has done . . . for the second time! . . . is put together an unbelievable roster through brilliant trades and better drafting. The Thunder are the #1 seed and they still have an absolute ton of draft picks.

Spoelstra have his team fighting the overwhelming favorite, and he doesn't have his best player. His in-game adjustments are fantastic, he motivates the hell out of his team, and he keeps an average roster in contention year after year. He is simply (again, in my opinion) the best coach in basketball, and has been for years now. I'd have loved to have seen Spoelstra get it this year AND I'M A HUGE THUNDER FAN.

FFS, quit screwing up these two awards.
