The better team won

I'm a neutral in regards to the series. I was simply enjoying the back and forth between the two teams. With that said, there's no doubt the refs ruined the ending of the game -- Knicks may have won without the two big decisions.

My issue, specifically the foul on Turner, is consistency within the same game. If the ref whistles that a foul, there should have been multiple other cases called throughout, yet there wasn't. Players feel out calls in the first half. To switch at the very end is wrong.

I feel like you're under-estimating us after the way game 1 went...but we are missing our second best player, who is our only non-Brunson creator on the team and was playing even better for us than Siakam has been for you, as well as the guy we brought in at the deadline to backfill for that injury.

This is a very different team without Randle to carry us at the start of games...while Brunson is figuring the defense out & finding his rhythm.

Without Julius we often have to dig ourselves out of a hole in the 2nd & 3rd quarters, Brunson has way less space to operate, Brunson gets fewer off-ball opportunities to get easy shots, as do our other shooters, we're less dominant on the boards, and we don't put teams in as much foul-trouble.

But yeah, there were a lot of calls that they could've made that would've been a lot less sketchy if the refs just wanted to give us the game. They were clutching & grabbing Brunson on almost every possession in the 2nd half. Just call each of those until the Pacers have to start letting Brunson receive the ball cleanly and there's no need to call the Turner screen to fix the game.

This is kind of a bad take. Hali is on an island here as he's responsible for both DDV and Hart in the corner. If he comes out on DDV early, then the big is on an island with Hartenstein ready to cut to the basket and Hart completely unguarded on a corner 3 if he does.

The problem is the double came way too late. You don't let the guy you're going to double dribble that far in, survey the floor, and set up like that. Don't double at that point.

No, the problem is Hali wasn't seeing the ball and seeing his man. He was ball-watching and started running not where Divo was, then had to correct course, and was then a step too late because of it. Nesmith rotated to Hart (as he should have) in time, Tyrese had no obligation on Josh.
