I’m sure he’s criticized locally but he’s irrelevant outside of Philly. He’d get treated so much worse than Westbrook and DLo get treated, just dragged if he were in LA.

Sixers fans ignored him to bash Simmons and Harden, conveniently forgetting that Harris was paid more and played much worse

Pretty sure he’s been getting criticism since the minute he signed that huge contract

Nothing like others

He’s been the worst Sixers starter in most playoff series while being paid the most for a majority of them

He's been hated on for years. It's a common topic.

I know he’ll be gone from Philly end of season but man I’ve never seen a dude escape criticism like this guy.

Every playoffs he’s just out there doing cardio.

They chose him over Jimmy, and they both scored the same points at their elimination game.

He's been paid so much money for quite some time now, i never got the hype. Not in Orlando, not in Milwaukee, not in Detroit and for sure not in LA or Philly. Always shook my head when i saw him get mentioned among the best paids, the "stars" etc.
I literally cant think of 1 really good game from him. Ever.

He can be blamed for some of this loss for sure - the good news is that his huge salary slot will be occupied by Maxey and other players so PHL will be better off in the long run.

He obviously played poorly this series but his playoff performances have always exactly matched his regular season stats. People shouldn't expect more from him than what he's always produced.

The issue is always his contract. He's an okay 3rd option type that should be getting $25 million a year. I'm not going to begrudge someone because they signed the contract that they were offered.

Honestly, not to talk ****, seems like an incredibly nice guy, but I don't even know how stoked I'd be to have him as like an 8th man on my team. He just doesn't seem to do anything. I feel like he's one of those guys who like the Clippers will sign, and you're like oh he could be good! And then he just plays for 4 more teams in 3 years and then is pretty much out of the league. Seems extreme but some guys are out of the league by their mid 30s. Here's to hoping that's not the case with him.

Doubt it

He’s 31 and could easily play for 5 + years more as he doesn’t rely upon athleticism

He’s a much better player than 35yo Batum and always has been

Biggest issue was that ridiculous contract

What does he rely on in your opinion? Scoring 0 points? zBatum at least makes 3s.

Wait. He plays for Philly? Thought New York signed him just before the series?

Imagine having Harris and Simmons on the same team and some people wonder why Joel Embiid only gets so far.

Sixers criticism should begin and end with Nick Nurse. He was brought in to take them to the ECF, at a minimum. But he did far worse than Doc or even Brett Brown.

I'm not even a 76ers fan and I can assure you there has been plenty of criticism of Tobias Harris.

Thankfully this should be his last mass overpay.
I think he has a big deal already lined up with Detroit.
