Pat Beverley, Professional Winner, has a career 4-9 series record in the postseason, and has only ever gotten out of the 1st round three times. In one of those instances, when the Clippers reached the conference finals in 2021, he was a DNP in the last few games against Dallas and had his role greatly reduced from there, culminating with him losing his composure again and shoving Chris Paul in the back after Phoenix eliminated them.

I don't pin that on him given that he's only ever been a role player, but you'd think he was the second coming of Robert Horry. When in fact he's a loud-mouthed, thin-skinned chump who loves to dish it out but obviously cannot take it. All of us who played sports have run into clowns like this, and they're held in universal contempt.

What was thin skinned about that moment with Obi Toppin trying to get him to fight?

Throwing the ball at a fan whp harassed their bench the whole game, according to Doc Rivers, they did cross a
line. Problem is you stIll can't do that as a professional. Bev admitted he was wrong.

He earned two of his postseason wins this year, age 36, with a torn ligament in his dominant hand's wrist. Then an oblique strain.

Fair question. I’m not sure how to explain it to someone that doesn’t see it that way. Fake, over the top, melodramatic I guess. I don’t believe for a second that he actually cares to the extent that he’s putting on.

I agree, didn't find this anywhere near as compelling as everyone else did. His takedown of Aaron Rodgers was a lot better. And he's wrong about the last thing he said. Pat Bev's time in the league won't be missed but it will be memorable.
