Will Westbrook be on a team next season?

He's been atrocious this playoff series. He hasn't been good in years. His attitude is **** and he can't seem to accept that he isn't what he once was. Doesn't adapt and improve his shooting or FT shooting.

Why would anybody want this guy on their team next year? I think this will be his last.

He will sign in the NBA for another year. His PO level isn't up to the bar, but he can still play at this level, especially for a team in need of bench guard minutes. Playoffs get a little dicey but he was okay in the regular season.

Granted, he would have a Marbury-esque career in China....

[I expect another vet min with LAC or MLE for a team with capspace that wants a big name without a big contract.]

Westbrook can still average 25/10/10 with that automatic vintage mid-range where he can rise up over any defender. But the question is, can he?

They weren't, but playoffs and Westbrook have been dicey even when he was at his peak. He was fine in his role in the regular season, but for example I had mentioned during the season that playoffs would not be friendly to him.

It is what it is. He's never had good role player offensive ability, never will.

Actually Westbrook had a surprising career. He came into the league as a pure athlete and not knowing how to play basketball.

He somehow managed to turn into a good PG in his prime and won an MVP averaging a 30 point triple double.

No media or public pressure and I am sure he would love playing in our weather and lifestyle.

Anyhow Russ was actually decent for much of this season coming off the bench, it's only recently the wheels have fallen off. OP is a tad harsh on him.

Issue with Westbrook is that he has value as a minutes eater on a contender, but you can’t grow to depend on him cause he’ll get exposed in the playoffs when teams actually adjust their game plan. So really it’s hard to see an ideal spot for him.
