I'm confident it's more than 10. I know the Thunder 4 for sure. The others I can't say for sure but I know I watched at least 2 of the Philly NY series. Probably 1-2 of the Lakers Nuggets. Probably 1 of the Phoenix Minnsota series, and I want to say like 4 of the Clippers Mavericks. After that, I definitely caught at least the 2nd half of many other games.

I didn't watch any of the Boston series, and very little of the Milwaukee/Indiana series, very little of the Orlando/Cleveland series although I'll definitely watch all of game 7.

I watch highlight videos and check the stats on first round games. Theres too many to watch.
I think round 2 is going to be great and I'll start watching full games not just highlights.
Denver v Minny is such a great .matchup. So much of Edwards screams " next big thing" and if he can break through against Denver than would be amazing.

I watched the 1st Pelicans-Thunder game
"Coach, why don't you just relax? We're not good enough to beat the Lakers. We've had a great year, why don't you just relax and cool down?"

Since I live in Europe i can only watch the early Sunday games, since here it's evening time. But the nba games have so many freakin timeouts sometimes it becomes so annoying to watch a full game.

This thread reminded me of this stat. I'd love to know the median/average split.

According to the A.C. Nielsen Co., the average American watches more than 4 hours of TV each day (or 28 hours/week, or 2 months of nonstop TV-watching per year). In a 65-year life, that person will have spent 9 years glued to the tube.

I'm in the 10+ group, I watched all 8 opening weekend alone. I've only missed a handful of games. But I understand that I'm probably overall in the minority, because a lot of people here would rather watch WNBA preseason than NBA playoffs.

Purchased a local tv-deal $10 a month (totally legal), they barely show any regular season games, but 100% of the postseason. The quality is average at best, but you can watch anything that was aired earlier as well.
Watched so far all 5 Denver-Lakers games, all 6 Mavs-LAC and 2 from the Knicks series.
Europe here, so I wake early in the morning (5-6-7am) and watch a whole game in like 1h 20min.
When not making it in time (morning family routine), I finish the game at work.
It does help I have no stress at work, finishing my notice period in 2 weeks, though I'll immediately start a new job which will send me to the Bay in the end of June - any recommendations for a pickup game around Mountain View?

Two Heat/Celtics games, two Clippers/Mavs games. Can't say I'm very interested in the other matchups this year. I'm just not really a fan of the teams that are left, although I have interest in Twolves/Nuggets in round 2. I'll check a game out if it's close in the 4th. Also, far more interested in NHL this year. I've probably watched more hockey playoff games.

It’s hard because I want to watch more than I have, but I’ve also decided to never choose watching a sports game alone over a social gathering with people who are important to me. So for that reason I voted 3-5. Take tonight for example. I’d love to watch Nuggets/Wolves game 1, but I have a fund raiser thing for a friend who’s important to me. I’ll try to watch it tomorrow but we’ll see.

I attended Games 1 and 2 of OKC and New Orleans. I like watching it on TV but it's more fun being at the arena, especially Paycom Center for the Playoffs.

Almost none if you go emphasize "start to finish". I've watched 3/4 of a lot of games though. I often either come in a bit late, miss a part getting my kid in bed, or turn them off when things are decided (particularly if I'm trying to make convincing the aforementioned kid to go to bed easier).

Also, in an definitely reasonable position for a person who doesn't believe in jinxes and such things, I sometimes can't make myself turn the game back on if I leave for a bit to get my kid to bed and my team suddenly starts doing better.

I think the OP is right that few fans watch many full games. At the same time surveys shows the average person watches 4 (!) hours of TV a day so clearly people do have time to watch games. That disconnect is something I have a hard time grasping. Maybe it is a median/average thing in which you have a bunch of no-life/elderly folks who binge 14 hours a day, 365 days a year upping the average.

None since my Sixers and Clippers are out. I will just wait for the Nuggets vs C's final.

Denver will cooked those T Wolves like chestnuts roasting on an open fire Lol

7 or 8 I think. My interest in the NBA would be a lot higher if the pistons were decent, but the playoffs have been entertaining so far.

Man, I've felt this timeout breaks thing completely out of hand since I was 12 yrs old (I'm 39 now). Its crazy to me it never changed.

Only my team’s (Lakers). There’s only a few series I’m interested in where I’d watch the 4th quarter if it’s a close game.
