Denver will be fine, but are done after this chip. Resigning Naji and Jordan made no sense. Same with going back into the mix with Reggie who has always been a better starter than bench player.

Murray has to step the **** up if they’re going anywhere. Jokic also poor today by his standards. See how the game 2 response is before writing them off fully.

I personally believe the Wolves will be champions this season. However, I'm not counting Denver out just yet after one game. Also, it's incredibly difficult to repeat, even if they re-signed everyone.

Is Murray who we thought he was? (Not a legitimate all-star)

They have a decent chance, but they're certainly not overwhelming favourites.
I feel they caught a bit of lightning in a bottle last year with the way Murray played. I don't think he'll ever repeat that kind of production. Their bench also got significantly worse with the departures of Green and Brown in the off-season.

The fault is 100% with ownership. They punted on purpose to make more money. They have a potential 3 championship window and took the bag instead.

He's going from Lebron and AD to KAT/Gobert/Reid.
It's hard.
He'll be fine. Minnesota is, on paper and in appearance, the best team they've faced over this run and the last one. It's not supposed to be simple. We'll see adjustments. It's going to be a long series. Denver will probably take one back from MN unless Murray is actually gimpy.
I just hope injuries and refs don't decide it.

I was saying it from the deadline nad buyouy market untill playoffs started. IF IF the Nuggets don't win it will be on FO or injuries.
Im amazed that they didnt even try to do something. Yes they were not having a lot of options because of the money, but still, young guys, picks, naji contract, they could have got an usefull player.
Having to play Reggie Jackson(he was great last night, and will not be rest of the series), Holiday and Braun who is not willing to shot, extended minutes will be a problem for this team.
All that said, last night bench wasnt the problem, as mentioned Reggie had a great first half, Braun was decent,...
Maybe sometimes in the future. Right now Watson is a great defender, but with no-expirience and no shot. That is why he played 5 minutes yesterday and Bruce would play 30 probably. Actually he was probably the perfect guy to throw on Ant.

Letting Bruce Brown walk with zero replacement was a huge blow to that roster.
Come on man, the difference is clearly Jamal Murray being healthy in 23 vs this banged up version in 24 and its not close in terms of impact out there. Thats the huge blow, Jamal Murray not rehabbing himself properly.

That too, but they still have zero for a bench. Last year Brown was a big X factor for them. This year they got guys like Reggie Jackson and Braun and they just ain't cutting the mustard.
And yea not looking good for Murray considering he just had 4 days off. It might not get any better than that the rest of the way

Zero chance is just a flat out ridiculous statement but obviously their lack of depth and Murray being less than 100% is definitely showing they’re not quite as good as last year. But it’s silly to write them off this quickly.

Can't really blame the Nuggets front office for that imo.
I don't think taking the most amount of money offered should be considered doing "the dirty on Denver". Absolutely everyone would've done the same thing put in the same situation - set yourself and your family up for decades with significant wealth.
And there is no quote where he promised to return. He might have stated his wants and intentions in the heat of the moment following games/at the championship parade, but he never promised anything.

Bruce Brown is absolutely better than Watson. I’ve said a few times that Denver is weaker than they were last year because of their substandard bench. They could still win the championship, but it won’t be in dominant fashion like last year’s was.

Kroenke could have. They own the Nuggets, Avalanche, Rams and Arsenal. They're Sports Portfolio alone is worth over 10 billion.

Wolves got nice center depth. I seriously think naz is their best center. Thought it only were mavs he went off on every time but seems not. And is kat their 3rd best and have that contract?
