If Denver wants to repeat, Jokic has to step up...
Dude has been underwhelmingly passive out of gate in every damn game so far in this playoff... you are the MVP, you need to be aggressive to set the tone... Denver has been trailing at the beginning of every game
Hi Clutchie, I love you...

He really does have to carry that squad in order to win. It's a tall order against Minny. It's one game. We'll see.
I'm torn - love Ant and Jokic. It's like watching my brother and father in a fist fight.

C'mon Jokic you're better than Prime LeBron
You should've won this game

It’s crazy that 32/8/9 is a bad game, but yeah I guess by his standards it was.

Prime LeBron stunk up the 2011 Finals.
26 years old and already with 2 MVPs.
If Jokic sinks to that level, then he's got a problem.

He needs to step up even more. But Jokic I am not too worried as his play in playoffs has always been great.

8 assists isn’t good with 8 turnovers. 32 points isn’t really impressive on the efficiency. It’s just not a good game buy any superstar standards. It’s not some Jokic thing.

He does need to be more aggressive because MIN's wings are gonna make life difficult for Murray BUT saying he's been underwhelming is a complete joke lol

Honestly maybe Jokic should hold a press conference in the summer, team up with other Allstar, All NBA, Future HOFs and talk about how many rings he's going to win by stacking the deck in the league. Not 1... Not 2....
But Jokic isn't that big of a ***** to do that.
Signed with team T.W.O for the 2022-23 2023-24 season.

Last time Jokic was this in this situation he had a meltdown while being guarded by Dwight Howard. We will see how he reacts this time

I didn't find him passive at all. Inefficient, yeah, but he was making to look plays pretty much any time he got the ball.

Re: If Denver wants to repeat, Jokic has to step up...
He wasn't too bad. "Has to play better" kinda ignores that typicality the nuggets can isolate a smaller defender on him and he can just shoot over the top or he can just go to the floater. Doesn't really work when your switching and you have the smaller big in KAT's 7 foot long ass putting his arms up.
He was big. I don't think the turnovers hurt as much. 3 2/3 were floaters which the wolves drop defenders managed to disrupt. It's either that or a missed floater?
It's the fact they got nothing off the bench. Wolves had Naz Reid come on and the nuggets really didn't adjust to his speed and he managed to get some easy points in a tough grinding game
Which is weird since the. Nuggets bench had a good +/- and wolves had a terrible one.

He definitely tried to get a few passes off he probably should of gone the floater. I hope he doesn't but I'm sure he's going to adjust and maybe be a little more aggressive against Rudy earlier.
Will help if Jamal could hit a shot.

And he still played better than LeBron in the 2011 Finals.
He had a positive NRTG in the series and shot 53% from the field.
When you're at his level, that's what a "meltdown" looks like.
Says it all.

I think the biggest thing Jokic needs to do is rebound the ball better. Everytime the Nuggets lose I see Jokic get under 10 rebounds. I expect a better game in game 2.

i'd cut him some slack in this series for rebounding, he is facing three big dudes who are as tall as him... but I hope he attacks them right out of the gate... Denver has been so slow in every start, then the game becomes a going up hill battle, it is exhausting, particularly for him
