Embiid Bothering MSG Security Staff

Post#1 » by HomoSapien » Sun May 5, 2024 3:49 am

Apologies if this has been posted. I like Embiid, but found this to be a pretty dickish move. Never enjoy seeing someone punch down.

Oh look another Embiid thread... Water is wet.

Usher needs to move. He can take 3-4 steps forward, until the players leave. Let's not act like the Usher wasn't standing his ground because it was Embiid.

May look innocent, but if he wanted to practice from that spot so bad, could have asked a person to move a few steps, which he could have done. Instead, he acts like the man doesn't even exist. May get a ton of Embiid defenders, but it did look disrespectful in my opinion.

Embiid was probably annoyed they interrupted him, launching himself into people is 90% of his offense. Gotta practice the shots you take in the game

The last bump was intentional, he should have fell down and "hurt" his back.

Not defending JoJo but MSG have always been a bit heavy handed (kicking fans out for making sledges against James Dolan etc) and then there was that infamous incident involving Charles Oakley which saw him banned for a few years.

Also I think Spike Lee also had a run in with MSG security a while back and boycotted Knicks home games for a while.q

Why is the usher so close to the court? His ego is in the way. He needs to move farther so the players can have room to operate in practice.

You need to focus on your Nuggets and Jokic hate bud. Maybe that will help you with your Embiid and 76ers playoff failures.

Yup this is all it is. That usher was standing there, like he was some sort of enforcer or something.

And Embiid could have stepped on his foot and twisted his ankle.

Those ends of the court have always been far too crowded with players running into the stands, cameramen, etc.

Bro just stop, the usher was out of bounds. There's no reason Embiid needs to practice out of bounds shots. That was a total dick move and par for the course for Embiid.

You want Joel MVP Embiid to ask one of the little people to move instead of just barging into a man who's looking the other way while doing his job? How dare you.

:-p

IF a player takes a baseline shot, then need room to back pedal and move. The usher does not need to stand that close. He could have even stepped to the side.

Even knick fans will tell you Oak is a drunk who is wildly out of line.

Embiid just practicing throwing his body at people, probably expecting to hear a whistle, too. Those one foot out of bounds shots are important to have in the bag...at least for the first 3 quarters when he actually shows up.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

You'd defend Embiid if he ran over someone with a car.

TBF that blind woman really shouldn't have been in Embiid's way. Poor Joel, how could she do this to him? :-(

Clearly the car's fault.

What goes around comes around... If you create threads about his greatness after every other regular season game, you should expect reactionary threads after his failures as a result, right?

Your MVP is insistently jumping on an old man who is trying to do his job, three times in a row, and you are blaming the old man... While practicing shots from out of bounds lol... What a childish behavior from an 7 feet tall grown man. What is next? Is he going to spit into popcorns of fans while practicing shooting from the stands?
