He practices his ref bait on the security guard. His basketball iq is super high.

Usher needs to move. He can take 3-4 steps forward, until the players leave. Let's not act like the Usher wasn't standing his ground because it was Embiid.

What goes around comes around... If you create threads about his greatness after every other regular season game, you should expect reactionary threads after his failures as a result, right?

Your MVP is insistently jumping on an old man who is trying to do his job, three times in a row, and you are blaming the old man... While practicing shots from out of bounds lol... What a childish behavior from an 7 feet tall grown man. What is next? Is he going to spit into popcorns of fans while practicing shooting from the stands?

While Embiid is not very likable as a player, the area he wants to shoot is perfectly in reasonable shooting position if he were to be forced down the baseline and needed a trick shot. The usher just forgot why he has a job there. Fans paid money so can be annoying to a certain degree; he was there to earn a salary so professionalism is expected.

So you say he needs to jump from out of bounds? Watch the video again please. We all know he does that to bully the old man, not to practice from that out of bounds spot, lol. Maybe it is how he motivates himself, I dont know.

And how about Embiid asking him to move a bit? Like normal people do? Instead of acting like an 12 years old adolescent.

The first shot was close to the bound and that gentle contact should be enough for him to realize and move, especially after the trainer and helpers were involved. Not saying Embiid is a good person here, but I think it was more on the usher whose whole job there was to serve and facilitate. He was just on a place where the players need, no matter shoot around or landing/slowing down after a dunk or layup.

Or you could use common sense and move out of the players space when they're practising like normal people do. Instead of acting like a 5 year old child.

Some people are really blaming the guy doing his job to protect players like Embiid from crazies. You really can't make this up. To some people, players are superiors and everyone must abide by their will. It's absolutely insane.

Embiid was in the wrong, there's no other way around it. This is fact. Whether the guard should be there or not, Embiid had no right to start bumping into an old man on purpose, one or both of them could get hurt because he refuses to ask politely for the man to move.

The third time he made contact seemed quite personal and generally childish. No surprises when it comes to Embiid though. Can always judge the measure of a man by how he treats those he considers "below" him.

Right cuz judging someone with the way they interact with an usher who is horning in on player territory, is clearly the best way.

So throwing a credit card down is better than defining a literal interaction between human beings? You're the worst poster here. Stupid troll excuse after stupid troll excuse. Welcome to ignore.

Common sense would be asking the security guy to move so he could practice shots from out of bounds that have no value.

One act doesn't cancel out the other. Maybe watch the video again and remove your Sixers bias.

You could say the same about Embiid in this situation, but you prefer to paint his whole life with that.

Just take a look at https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/joel-embiid-shot-chart-by-season

The last two seasons (!) he didn`t take a single (!!) shot from this spot. The last one which was anywhere near that spot was in 2021/2022. I really don`t know how biased someone has to be to make excuses for Embiid on this one.

If Oscar Pistorius would have been on the Sixers they are at least two people on RealGM who would have defended him for shooting his girlfriend because she farted way to loud.
