Me too, as far as up and coming teams. I want to see the Pacers in the east, but in the west I'd be ok with OKC, but also it would be interesting to see the Wolves and they haven't been really good for so long, and it could be Dallas' time and Luka might be fun to watch in the finals.

I picked Minnesota but it was close. I used to pull for Denver (other than Phoenix) but they won their championship so I really don't pull for favorites or teams that have won recently.

I agree. Tbh the only team I’m slightly rooting against is the thunder, and I DO really like them as a franchise but they’re gonna be so good for a long time, I’d rather see them go through some postseason lumps before winning it all

Would be ok with the Knicks though. Wish the incompetent nitwits in Chicago never let Thibs go. Plus I like the Nova guys, and they generally have likable players.

I don't mind whoever comes out of the East but I'd love to see New York get a Finals appearance so they're fans can take over america for a few weeks.

T-Wolves would be cool from the "told you so" angle, as I've been saying they're a top 3 team for most of the season. I know I said in... February? January? that if I were a betting person, I would've put equal bets on Denver, Boston, and Minnesota at that time. Got mocked for it. Also, I've been a huge fan of their playstyle all season. My second-favorite team to watch after Denver.

But the only team I'm actively rooting for is Denver.

Overall, I just want fair games and for the best team to win it all.

EDIT: I forgot, I was also in favor of the Gobert trade, so that's another layer of "told you so." But meh. I just want fair games and the best team to win. That's what sports should be about, in my opinion.

Knicks obviously in any series. I want Cleveland to take Boston just so the Knicks can have a good shot at the finals. I'm neutral on Denver-Minnesota as I like both clubs. And favor strongly OKC over Dallas since Luka is super irritating.

Don't mind any of these teams. All pretty likeable teams and likeable players/coaches/fans.

But....if process of elimination? Maybe The Mavs in the West (Hey, I'm a Spurs fan. Screw Cuban! also, Luka can be a bit too whiney at times, My God....) and in the East? Maybe the Celtics? They already have like 17 NBA championships (altho from decades ago).

So I voted the TWolves (close to voting Thunder) and Pacers (close to voting Knicks).
Very fun teams to watch. Would be cool seeing one of them finally winning an NBA championship.
TWolves, also hasnt had a deep playoff run since 2004 (WCF vs Lakers).

As a Spurs fan, a lot of fellow mid/small market teams. Cavs, Pacers, Thunder, TWolves, Nuggets. Like seeing them succeed.
Knicks (huge market) is fun as well and their fans are funny, cool, passionate. That city would explode if they win another title! Theyve waited forever.

Many of these teams have yet to win an NBA title or have very long NBA championship droughts.
No NBA titles yet: TWolves.....Pacers (did win ABA titles during the '70 tho).
Been a long time: Knicks (1973....and so close in 1994/lost game 7 to Rockets NBA Finals). Thunder (1979 as the Seattle SuperSonics, but not yet in OKC (came close in 2012 (lost NBA Finals vs Heat). Celtics (2008). Mavs (gettin there....2011).
OKC last made WCF in 2016 (lost in 7 to GSW , blowing 3-1 lead).

Nuggs (last season), Cavs (2016) have won recent NBA championships.

Hard to pick! All good teams and likeable. But voted TWolves and Pacers.
